Notes:
Fact: After they're converted to god-knows-what type of creature, the witches can always be converted back to a human, if they haven't killed anyone yet.
The vampire idea is totally different from Buffy, no scary faces, they can turn into bats, they can convert someone by just biting, they can be converted back if they haven't killed anyone yet, (like a lot of other demons now) they flame when they die (no fancy dusting).
When Leo comments about how the vampires "are part of a whole different network now", it's an in-joke to Buffy switching networks from WB (where Charmed airs) to UPN.
A season DVD has not yet been released. According to JustShannen.com, Shannen Doherty is not co-operating about her image being used for a DVD cover for Charmed. "There's yet another thing that's holding the DVD production news off. It seems that the off-camera battles between co-stars Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty linger on with Shannen having not given copyright permission to use her image on the DVD covers. To public knowledge, Shannen can not prevent the DVDs from being released because her contract stated that, that could happen, but she is able to prevent her image from appearing on the DVDs and she might also be able to prevent herself beeing in any special features or behind the scenes sections of the DVD!"
