Dracula playing up to Xander and Dawn in a most entertaining manner, much to Xander’s embarrassment. Later, Buffy and Co. are fighting some of the new vampires in San Francisco, when Dracula makes a grand appearance to help. He is just as much at a loss as the others about the new powers. Back at HQ, he reveals that his mastery of vampires was just a matter of willpower, and Giles and Willow begin to understand how the new world of magic is evolving. Andrew, meanwhile, has usurped Xander’s position as ‘manservant’ to the Count. While Buffy and Willow are out pursuing leads, Dracula and Xander steal the book of magic - “Vampyr” and run off to conquer the world, leaving Giles unconscious and Spike in a pool of blood.
