In deleted scenes from Star Wars: Episode 3, an entire subplot is revealed. In it, we learn that Darth Lucas...uh...we mean Darth Sidious... has a wicked plot. He plans to make small plastic and plush representations of all the Jedi to sell at their impending funerals. But the Jedi learn of this plan and hatch a scheme of their own involving plush astromech droid backpacks.
