Inspired by "motor meters" created by Rene Lalique (circa 1920s), the Rocket Man was originally designed as a hood ornament for a sports car.
The helmet, boots and rocket pack are solid 14kt gold fused to a .999 fine silver body. Adorned with a .03 VS diamond in the helmet, rainbow moonstone belt buckle and a pair of fiery carnelian bullet cabochons; A rocket ship is hand-carved into the heart of the quartz crystal by the artist.
The Rocket Man himself is 2" long, 5/8 wide, 5/8" high (when flying flat). The entire sculpture 2 1/2" high overall, 2 1/8"wide, 1 7/8 "deep. Offered complete with a lighted display stand.
