Power Rangers: Turbo is a television show based on the Japanese Super Sentai television series Gekisou Sentai Carranger. It is the fifth season of the Power Rangers series.

After the defeat of the machine empire, the Turbo Rangers graduate from high school and resume their normal lives, but are attacked by a vengeful Divatox and her forces and an endless supply of detonators and monsters that threaten the citizens of Angel Grove.

At this point Zordon and Alpha 5 return to Zordon's home planet of Eltar, relinquishing the mentorship of the Rangers to Dimitria of Inquiris and Alpha 6. The four older Turbo Rangers are then retired from duty, "Passing the Torch" to four new Rangers - T.J. Johnson, Carlos Vallertes, Ashley Hammond, and Cassie Chan, while Justin Stewart remains as the Blue Turbo Ranger.

The Phantom Ranger, arrives on Earth to aid the Rangers as Divatox's brother General Havoc arrives, bringing with him a new Space Base for his sister and a Metallosaurus Zord. Together the Villians succeeds in capturing the Turbozords. The Phantom Ranger, who becomes Cassie's love interest, gives the Turbo Rangers new Rescue Zords.

Phantom Ranger: The Phantom Ranger is a mysterious warrior who gave the Turbo Rangers their new zords.
