Only the second person pronoun,
Can save me from this insurmountable pain,
That breathes fire, inside my open vein.
Why did thee, just glance over and laugh?
Don’t you realize I enjoy a blood bath?
Mr Melancholy and Mrs Misery,
Are constant companions of mine!
Stealing all of my precious time!
Burning eyes and disturbed thoughts,
Prevent me from making, drunken retorts.
I realize this unwelcome companion is something
I’ll have to inure.
I welcome the belief, there will be no cure!
Once there was light, once there was hope.
Now there is night and the sight of a rope.
Seconds tick by along with my vigour,
Like a failed overdose, eroding my liver.
I will not bore you with tales of the future,
Or promises of the past!
For now I tell you, this pain will forever last!
Maybe I’d hold you under my spell?
Maybe we’d stroll where angels dwell?
Maybe this place is Heaven in Hell?
This is the place where Dracula fell……
