The coat itself is our 21st century version of an original archived coat from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The original museum piece was originally manufactured in the mid 1850's, the person it was made for was short and stout, so we remodelled it, keeping as many of its original features as possible, but using modern day measurements to ensure it fits our clientelle.
It would be interesting to see what its original designer and creator would think of our latter day version.
It was named after the 1920's version of Dracula. The stand collar reminded us of the collar on the coat in the original B&W film, hence the name.
