Today I spent my lunch hour from work to have a tire replaced on my car. I spent all morning trying to find the size needed only to find it had been discontinued. I did however have luck, and a used tire shop had the exact brand and size needed.
I went to the shop, and waited while the mechanics did their thing, and toward the end I thought I could be of some assistance.
I was putting my doughnut spare back to its rightful place in the trunk when I unknowingly sliced my right ring finger.
I went to the lobby to pay and get back to work when the owner behind the counter asked me, “Are you bleeding?”
I lifted both hands up and saw my blood running from my finger and down my forearm. With out even a thought, I said “Oh”, and licked my blood from my forearm to fingertip. The blood ran over from my bottom lip, down my chin, and dropped off it.
I looked right at him and said, “Yummy.”
Ha. I had never seen anyone’s eyes grow so wide with shock. I asked where the restroom was, and I excused myself to clean up.
After washing and wrapping my finger in a paper towel, I went back into the lobby.
I asked him what the price was for the services, and he told me, “Uh, um, just twenty.” He was still shocked over seeing this stranger dressed in his Friday black attire, who just so happened to drink his own blood.
I paid up, and then being the snob that I can be, I asked him for one of his business cards, incase I would ever have to come back I would know who to ask for.
He then told me he was out of business cards.
I thanked him, walked out, and got in my car and drove back to work laughing.
I am wondering if any others have got a similar story to tell of when they have freaked out a stranger, or loved one on a vampiric nature.
Please share, I am anxious to read all.
I Stole an idea from a friend of mine. (Too good NOT to execute!)
Used:
One borrowed costume radiation suit, without the helmet (you know, the silver 1950’s space man looking thing)
One pair long barbecue tongs
Frozen peas
One distressed look
Location:
Local Park/playground
I put on the suit, picked up one pea at a time with the barbecue tongs, looked distressed and walked up to random people (adults) and asked, “DO YOU KNOW WHERE I FOUND THIS?!?!” and “accidentally” dropped the pea on them.
LOADS of fun :)
Well my experience with scaring mortals isn't as extravagant as yours Dayryn but I do seem to have the natural ability to scare people without doing a thing. It must be my presence because whether it was down a hallway or the street sidewalk people part like the red sea lol
There was this one incident where this woman was walking towards me one fall evening downtown and i just sort of looked at her intensely as I passed and flashed a menacing grin and she was scared shitless, I like having that affect on people lol
one time i drank from one of my donors in a park and two people came by... i don't know if they were shocked but they seemed to try to keep a dinstance to us. another time i drank from another donor at a backyard. when we got back on street another donor of mine who was waiting for me on street recognized that my chin was full of blood. but i got off the blood before someone couls see it... othewise it would maybe shock someone*g*... i think to shock someone it's enough to tell them that i drink blood... there were only a few people who wasn't shocked by this.
