Does anyone else have the ability to 'cloak' themselves mentally? I've managed to do it quite a few times-- walk right past the person, speak out, and have them not even see me til I tap their shoulder or brush against them.
Just curious to see if anyone else has the ability to do so.
Nara... yes i've done it on many occasions... i especially love doing it close to halloween really spooks people out :P
Never doen it and never heard of it.
Please tell us more
Nar, love..can you please tell us how you do it?
Interesting this one is!
=)
do it quite frequently....rarely intend it tho
usually when I am just sort of wandering mentally...only half there....bugged the hell out of mordes when we lived as roomies
Then I leave it up to you Daer to teach mordes and I >:)
*smooch*
Again, it's along the lines of meditation. You don't want them to see you, so in some cases, they just don't.
I've also managed to do it by accident-- that's how I realized I could do it at first. It comes in handy at family gatherings where they are constantly asking where you are, and you happen to be sitting in a chair a few feet away from them.
A good point, Cancer.
Never thought of it that way, really.
I havent been able to do it when i want, but it has happened many a times.
the easyest way to do it is to have a focus and think only of that. basicly random thoughts drifting in will break it. but reading a book while walking if it's a good book often has the effect.... tho if one goes out of their way to be noticed and garner attention at other times it's disruptive as well. The best people at this are so non descript that even if one does notice them one has troubles describing them afterwards... I guess another rule is to not look at people if you can help it looking draws attention... if you must look at a person look at their clothes or over their shoulder as it helps keep you from connecting on a social level. Cause the jig is up once a person veiws you as a person and not just another object occuping space.
I can do it if im scared or feel threatened like any other member of the animal kingdom..lol.. its just about lots of practice and trial and error.. some are just better at doing it than others... but what takes real skill is seeing those who are cloaked my dears .... :)
