Then answer these questions.
Has society gone to far with tracking systems?
Could this be the mark of the beast?
Is this an infringement on our rights?
Will they eventually force us all to take this chip in place of credit cards and checking accounts?
Yes this has gone too far in my opinion. We already are on camera everywhere we go for every transaction we do, we have no privacy anymore. If we choose that , it's acceptable, when we have no choice it's akin to invasion on several levels. I do believe that all money will be eliminated and all buisness and or means of living will go to a card, chip, scanner, ect. Our evolution process is all heading towards dehumanization in so many area's. Shall we all simply become codes or numbers in the end?
Remember the movie "The Minority Report"? How whenever he walked by certain places, adverts geared specifically for him would play, and such? Everything was electronic. I can't remember whether it was chip or retinal scan based.
I don't like the idea of the veri chip.
I am not a criminal, but I STILL don't want the ability for that level of scrutiny over every single aspect of my life. It's none of anyone's business. I find it invasive and offensive.
I do think they are getting too close to too far with tracking. I waffle on this issue ... finding a kidnapped child quickly would be a blessing, finding a serial mutilator more quickly would be a blessing, having Big Brother know when and where I've decided to go get lost with a lover is NOT a blessing.
As for the mark of the beast, if you follow that religion, then I can see how something like this could be construed as such.
Infringement of our rights? If the issue is forced, most certainly.
Do I think they'll try and force something liek this in place of credit cards and checking accounts (don't forget cash)? Eventually. We're on the path towards this anyway. I am not fond of this idea either. It is yet another way to keep track of our purchases, regulate our expenditures, and one more way to make any of our earnings that much more theoretical. There would be no more splitting a hundred bucks between friends to help with a move, it would be marked and taxed as income for them. No more paying your neighbors son and his friends under the table to help build your fence for the same reason.
Then again, it would be more difficult, as a society, to get ourselves impossibly in debt. Possibly.
=/ Bad Veri chip. Bad Big Brother.
By the by, the article says the chip is only cleared by the FDA for medical usage. Being the paranoiac and conspiracy theorist that I tend towards, who the hell thinks if it becomes more common, that it will end there? I don't.
hmm thhis is very wierd..and somehow scarry...
my o my where does future leading us?
They can keep there chip and a couple rounds of a 45acp!
I personally believe that this is the Mark of the beast and why would they not force us to use this? They would say it is for our safety, Kidnapping would end, crime would end. Hassel free grocery shopping---each item would have a chip and you put it in your cart walk out the door everything is scanned at once. but they would have records on you everywhere as it states in the Bible Revolation 13 vs 16,17,18 "he required all great and small, rich and poor, slave or free, to where a mark on thereright hand or forehead. And no one could buy or sell or work without this mark for it was the number of the creature. here is wisdom let those who are able compute this number for it is the number of his name 600 and three score 6
