I have a question. Is there a difference in how you are supposed to treat people when it comes to religion to lifestyle/how they look to color of skin?? I was always raised to treat people with different colored skin, lifestyles, or different religion than mine the same as I would want them to treat me. Yet, my parents talk bad about these people when we are in our house. It angers me and I was just wondering if there was something I missed....?
You should treat people like you want them to treat you.
yeah i agree with Radu... treat them like you want to be treated.
Yeah, I agree too, But I guess the bigger question is, How can someone who preaches to their kids about 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you,' talk so bad about people they don't (or do) know?
It's about practicing what you preach. Those who can not get passes race , religion, or lifestyle are consumed by ignorance.
Treat ppl as Radu said but also think about treating them according to how they act.
I agree, Ignorance. I hadn't thought of that. thanks, hun.
Who cares what anyone looks like or what they do in their own time and space???..
If people are nice to me then I am nice to them ..If they are weird or mean ...then well I treat them the way they deserve.
You do not have to follow the way your parents behave ...be glad they taught you to have a mind of your own and also realise that they are comfortable being themselves around you knowing that you are smart enough to make your own decisions about how to treat people despite their personal views.
