I read somewhere that blood drinking was no more risky than oral sex... is this true? can anyone give me anything more about it?
The only person's blood I've drank before was my own...and I don't drink blood normally, so I have no clue. I'm asuming that's true thought. Actually I'd think drinking someone else's blood would be more risky infact...
it's pretty much the same. if you have any deceny you would not do either with the first person you meet. and you'd wait to trust the person.
if you trust that person, they would get themselves tested for diseases.
they can both be dangerous if you aren't careful
in my opinion blood drinking is better then oral sex... and tastes better to...
thanks carkiller88 for enlightening us, but... did that really answer Olwens question?
Gorey is correct both are quite dangerous. I have been drinking from the same donor for years, she feeds only me and still I insist she get tested on a regular basis. We both do every 6 months.
blood has a few issues attached.....
but they are a lot alike in danger levels....
the big worry these days with both is Hepatitis-c....all it takes is a few micrograms in blood to infect.....far more infectious than aids in fact...
I heard they're both just as dangerous... HIV and STDs... Not sure if it's true or not. Just what heard.
there both risky like what was mentiond befor you should know the person befor doin eather, i feel that drinking some elses blood is a bit more intamit then orel sex, but both are great an derive from great passion, an love. yes i said love, for me to do eather i must love the person first, when in an intamite situation like these two, love can make the experince better 10 fold
I agree Vincent, specially when it comes to drinking anothers blood. Without the love and passion you are simply ingesting a metallic tasting fluid. If your are going to take the risk make it a worthwhile experience.
than you, i am a creature that is ruled by my emotions, it may be a short comming or a blessing
OK, i am a paramedic, and you CANNOT get any diseases from drinking blood.... or from oral sex...... Being a paramedic, i have recieved much vomit and other trash from women who have disease, and have tested negative every time, it was once rumored that you can, but it is IMPOSSIBE, the stuff in your saliva would kill any infection, disease, ect.
*reads all the others and then looks at bobafet's comment* right now im very confused!!!
what bobbafett is leaving out that you CAN get any blood borne disease from both oreal sex an drinking blood if you have a open sore or a cut in your gums or an olcer in your stomach. if your a paremedic you should know theres always a possiblity, with in these parameters
I thought Cancer made a rule.. sex to be discussed in Scarlet's room only? I know it has not been around for a while but I don't think this topic is valid for discussion here. Correct me if I am wrong.. spank me if I am not ;)
i havent heard of any such rule, but that dosnt meen sqwout, i havent been here for to long
sorry if I did post this in the wrong place, but I am relatively new here so I wouldnt know...
I dont think this thread is about sex. It is about the dangers of what happens with drinkin blood and if it is or isnt more dangerous than oral sex. Oral sex just happens to be a standard most are aware of the dangers with.
As for the question. I would agree that they are both equally dangerous and you should know the person first. I dont think half the world thinks of those dangers or doesnt see them. They do when it comes to blood.
*shrugs and drops 2 cents*
Athena :) :)
for the most part i dont think people are goin around an just sucking other peoples blood or giving orel sex, i mean even casuel sex, most people carry protection, but i may be living in a fantasy, i dont think after you meet some one for the first time you would do eather of these things with out some sort of protection. REMEMBER KIDS BE SAFE
I don't think this thread is about sex either. It is about consequences. And yes if you have to do something make sure you know the person well and take care, or at least do the blood tests...
Im surpised with out casual sex, oral or otherwise is most of the time. Most forget about safety and consiquences. Expecially *no offence* I see it worse in ppl younger than myself (Im 24).
I think this is a great threat. Might help some realize the dangers of drinking from ppl you dont know.
Depends whos blood you are dinking and who you are sleeping around with,
There are risks in everything.
I think it depends on what you like.If you like blood drinkin then its your choice.I don't really know much about which is safer but I could use the info.
bobafett321, I must seriously disagree.....I have been trained as an EMT. And what you have said is the opposite of all that you learn while training as an EMT.
I say Gorey is the one that put it the best way. You can get something if the other person has it.
Bobafett: There is something major wrong with your statement online, by saying that neither blood-drinking or oral sex can give you HIV, or any diseases is that OSHA and the Board of Health in the USA, and the United Kingdom would tend to disagree with you.

bobafett321 you should go back to medic school since he has know idea what you are talking about and may kill someone. I am an EMTCC our training is not far apart I have been doing for over 12 years and what you are saying will kill someone. This goes back to my Stupidity post on how people will say things and are so off it’s not funny. The advice you give to these people because you say you are a paramedic makes it believable. YOUR WRONG and deadly and if I was your supervisor I will report you to the state and get your card pulled.
I can’t even believe you said that….What state are you in? I want to make sure I am not around or in that state where I may get you. I would rather code then have an imbecile like you work me. And if you’re in NYC then we are in big trouble. What a fool.
Here is another site for you to go look at.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
http://www.cdc.gov/
I mean most of the world listens to them and what they have to say.
I'd say blood drinking has a lot more risk to it then oral because well if you want in oral sex you can still use a condom etc... and there is not that much exchange unless people want to go all the way and eat stuff etc.. but with blood drinking yeah its most likely if you have something the other would get it faster.
bobafett321 your on your bus and a person spits blood into your eyes. Now let’s see, saliva is in your mouth but your eyes don’t have the same compounds as salver. Are your chances of catching some sort of disease greater or less since as you say saliva kills it all?
You must be the driver and don’t see much action in the back or you just became a medic and feel you know it all. Are you one of those who became an EMT and passed the state and went right into medic school? You didn’t even refresh once I bet. I can’t tell you how irate I am from that statement.
Mosby's EMT - Basic Textbook
Chapter 2....page 24
"Contact with blood or other body fluid of any patient should be considered a risk, and you should follow steps to avoid such contamination."
Chapter 2....page 25
"Masks can be worn by emergency workers to prevent body fluids from splattering into the EMT's mouth or nose."
And these guidelines are for the EMT - Basic......
Came right from my textbook.
