OK, i am a paramedic, and you CANNOT get any diseases from drinking blood.... or from oral sex...... Being a paramedic, i have recieved much vomit and other trash from women who have disease, and have tested negative every time, it was once rumored that you can, but it is IMPOSSIBE, the stuff in your saliva would kill any infection, disease, ect.

This statement above is so wrong it can kill you. People you can't take anything here for granted or the truth. Something like this can and will kill you.

And another thing as a medic you are trained the basics. How about BSI? Oh that's right you have been exposed and tested and given the all clear. MY guess would be that you are a very lucky person but luck runs out.

Oh yea luck definetly runs out when you need it most too.

I agree. I mean for real if you're going to drink blood get it tested. I mean you could get AIDS or something deadly like that.

Well, there was a poll floating around pertaining to how often you tested the blood you drank for communicable diseases (Poll #113), so this issue has been brought up prior to this post. Still, I believe that testing blood (esp. from sources you don't know or from people you aren't sure about) would be a very beneficial practice.

This post was mean for a reason. When people give you advice about things that may or can kill you I would say go and do you research. Not from a bogus site but a creditable site. Not everybody seams to be who they seam. There are risks in life and I would hate to see people take them without any thought to it.

if you really want to know...talk to a doctor....it may take talking to a few...and they may not like what you are asking.....but they deal with many people in high risk lifestyles...and they are obligated by law not to bullshit you

I disagreed quite a bit with the closure of that thread as DA and Emmy were actually putting out some of the best info I have seen on the subject...
but at the same time it got heated ad potentially very rude....I agree that was warranted given your profession DA....
but at the same time that is what I think got it R.I.P.ed..... but I would like to see the links you two provided in here if possible...before that post gets sent to forums oblivion

Everything has a potential for argument otherwise we would live in a pacifist world. Potentially, that thread would of only got seedy with the topic it had in mind. Everyone thinks differently. *shrugs*

As a safety professional, I was happy to see someone with proper medical experience come in and take control of the thread.

Dark Admin..tres well done...i tell ya what this site needs...more than anything considereing that we have a quite a large young and naive population...also considering the nature of this site...often dealing with blood issues etc..also the current STD climate...we NEED some health info on here...that is trusted and correct...i mean people saying god knows what and getting their wires crossed ...can and will get people into serious trouble if they take all they see in here as fact...dya get me???

i agree with what you said how that statement is b.s. they dont know what there talking about i guess. my mom is a nurse so i do know that you have to be careful with everything like drinking blood and haveing oral sex. theres so many diaseases in the world today and many ways to get them too.
