This is just another rant about why people on here can't have more interesting conversations. While some administrator is probably going to slam their powerful fist into my face and tell me to shut up, I'm sorry by the way, I'm just curious as to the above question.

I've been on VR for a while now and I've noticed quite a few awesome topics of discussion and a few less intelligent yet still interesting ones.

However I keep noticing the same topics over and over again.

Now grant it, I am guilty as charged for joining in on the mindlessness of the cafes and clubs but it is the other topics that really upset me.

I'm just wondering why people don't see

"healthy religious chat" for instance and post something about karma or ESP or Sylvia Brown in there.

Coagulated means to clot

well why not clot your thoughts together to form a forum post that encompases the entirety of a subject

or if your thinking of posting a new thread, look at the last 30 or 45 forum posts and see if any of them match what you are about to discuss.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off with this but it's something to consider and it will keep a lot of people happy

thought i'd add .02$ before my regular fellow forum nazis light their torches and sharpen the pitchforks....
yes this has been done lots.....but new members do not always know that.....
part of the reason for not clotting them all together is it loads up a thread too quickly....if you notice...the cafe usually closes after 450 views.....or approximately 200+ posts....give or take....this is the point that the mods close most threads due to length....
so thats why some questions are broken down...I do agree tho that asking the same question five different ways...is still the same question...

i have been on a few months however an hour or so at the library doesn't get you very far. So I am aware of the repeat in my post as well.

However why can't people in here see that if there is one topic similar to theirs they can just post in there. If it gets closed down just do what we do and call it

a favorite post doesn't disappear into the shadows of the rave and people like me don't get pissed

i'm still kinda new here so i try and check the post befor hand to see if maybe their is one that would cover what i had to post. that way people don't end up reading the same thing in a diffrent way.

well newdeath, you have seen the point and grasp it apparently but others don't and that is why I get upset when I see something that could be answered in another part of the forums. Props to you for getting it right away.

You know whats funny? Usually the ones complaining about the mindless threads are the ones that help contribute to them. Why complain simlply if its mindless let it sink like a rock in water. After a couple of threads i'm pretty sure the person will get teh hint no one likes there post and will quit making them. Personally when I make a thread I try to make it informative in some type of way. Then again it is rare that I would make a thread. Sorry if my post is abit off topic but I had to say it.
