the only p[sychic vampiric experience i ever had was when someone got under my skin enough for me to dwell on them for days and plot how i was gonna get even.then it dawned on me..a "psychic vampire" can only draw from your energy(not power but enjoyment)if you allow them to.they're like a scary sound..you get scared then realize its nothing.psychic vamps in my opinion(which doesnt matter people...remember that) are phonies and are tragic stories of life imitating art.they are the grubbs of society

I think you have the wrong opinion of Psy vamps. The one situation you described could be considered a "vampiric" situation, but not one that deals with a Psy.
Psy vamps are more about draning energy, from willing or unwilling participants. I've seen psy vamps come close to stopping someone's heartbeat.
I still have research to do regarding the subject, and it may or may not have something to do with Parasympathetic nervous system (too long to explain, google it).
But I digress, I'm not the lowest dregs of society, and you do yourself a diservice to sterotype all of us.

ANd that is your opinion.. Does not mean you are right. I am a energy or psi or whatever you want to call it, and I also drink blood, some...I do not consider myself any less a vampire than full blood vamps are...People like you are the grubs in society, not us.

Hmm, to say Psy vampires can only feed off the willing is like saying that a human can only drink willing water. It flows out whether the person wants it to or not, in the end, like following the rivers to the sea, you can follow a trailing vapour to someone's life essence.

Mmm there are people who could be classed as psychic vampires.

I had the most unpleasant experience of sitting beside a boy in my highschool class on a trip.

My teeacher asked when we got there what was wrong with me, cause I was dead tired while I had had enough sleep, wasn't sick etc....

I told him about the boy napping besides me during the busride.
He told me to go take a nap myself on the way back and visualize cutting off all energy flows to the outside and opening myself for the flows from outside.

I must say it helped, I felt a lot better back at school.

I think psy vampires are like people in general, you have good ones and bad ones.

I've never met a bad one (least not that I was aware of) but I have/am been a willing donor for one and I must say the experience is rather pleasant. Very enjoyable *grins slightly*

Now I don't know if that is the norm, having nothing else to compare it to and still being fairly new to all this, but thought I'd just add in my couple cents on the subject :)

as a psy who frequently experiments with the limits of my ability.....I can honestly say...he is not far from the truth here....but he could have stated it more tactfully....
anyone can learn to block us psy's....though most never will....
they first would have to admit a belief in our existence...and then learn to actively cut off the energy they naturally drain off..
and realistically we could still feed on them...but only what they allow out....
forceing a feed on a person actively blocking is far more trouble than it is worth.....a major headache would be my term...and i mean that in a literal sense...

I resent the comment about psy vamps being phonies... I am one by birth... I wish I could prove it to you... people who have been around me have always had this feeling like they are never going to be happy again... then i walk away and they go: "did you feel that"...

i dont know if i would call that being a psy .it just sounds like people are being assholes to you and you dont seem to get that they may be insulting you.

As both Psy and Sang, I never have a problem feeding, from the willing or unwilling. I think that you need to do more research on this before stating an opinion that might offend others. In the same sense that you say Psy's might be fakes, some can say that Sang's can be too. To just drink blood, or say you feed, does not necessarily make you a Vampire.

Psy is more like a skill. I learned to absrob energy when a real special person in my life taught me. I can't say I feed on the willing or unwillin. I eat food, and.. well, that gives me energy;). That I can absorb energy?? Yes I can, from many things(specially in nature) not only from willin or unwilling people.

I think that Lucios doesn't believe in Psy vamps, because a great deal of them are fakes. Anybody can claim to be "feeding on energy"..

I can respect those that give respect in return. When anyone puts down another person, with an opinion they put out there for all to read, then they should expect the good responses and the bad. You seem to get defensive just the same as others on this site when your judged. To say that a class of people are fakes is wrong, maybe you have met some in your life, we deal with that everyday....people who say one thing, do another, who portray themselves as something they are not. But to judge others as a whole is racism in a form. To put your opinion out there and then not respect the opinions on others is wrong too.
As I stated I am both Sang and Psy. I can send and recieve energy, and there are several VR members that can say the same. They have seen heat tricks and energy surges. I drink blood and recieve energy that way as well. Does this make me a Vampire? In some opinions yes, in others no. It is who I am though.
But in terms of respecting you, that won't happen unless you show respect to others.

It has always been my thought that we are the same just of different intesities. "True Bloods" take energy from blood directly, where psy take energy from touch, or the weak prey seem to have it flow from them. It is my thought that we are taking the same energy, and that would be life, soul whatever you want to call it. For example true bloods take blood in to sustain themselves but how many true bloods are anemic... not many which suggests that they are taking the blood for other reasons than replenishing their own. on another note, i know a true blood who only feeds on blood and she feeds everynight on about a pint of blood and she's a skinny girl. So if your a "true blood" and your not feeding on at least that amount then you're probably supplementing your diet with psy feeding... *or your just a big fat fake* lol
