it seems to me that the rating system on here is unnecesary and take a certain amount of the fun out of being on here the level system is great for keeping people interested but i think there should be a little more incentive to carry on leveling up such a a light version of premium membership for 1 monthwhich would help in 2 ways gives people the opportunity to try out a premium membership and decide they may wish to purchase it as well as keeping people much more active on the site. does any 1 else agree or have any ideas of there own?

at first i thought it was unnecessary, but after time went on i saw the necessity of it..if i may sugest the one month membership to you..i am also going to try it myself today..im not sure if i do will it erase all that i have done?. and if it runs out ..do i run out.?

on what other site do you have a system to level up? it is there so you can get familiar with the website.
there are always competitions where you can win a PM.
you are free to use this site free, PM is an incentive for Cancer who puts so much work, time and effort into this site so everyone can have fun and enjoy this site

I have seen other pm's loose their pm and their profile dint change a whole lot. I love being a pm so many cool things to do.

As far as the rating system goes, it gives me much to do and look forward to do. Plus its its interesting to see what others think of my work.

I rate people for many reasons, not just to level up. I rate because i liked the profile, to welcome, when people advertise the changes they made (and that took time, efford and creativity and deservs my attention), to know the people I share most of my day with (yes, I'm addicted to VR and proud of it), even a forum post or good thread leads me many times to think "who is this person?" and go take a look at the profile. I'm also a big photography fan, and I like to see what people do, so I rate for that too. To level up, yes (would be very hypocritical if I said - I couldn't care less...- because I do, and it's part of the fun of the game), but also to be involved in the site, and the people that are in it.
Never the less, I think that for me, there are enough incentives, and they just keep coming. Nice thought though.

If you don't like the rating system...GO ELSEWHERE. Damn you newbies and your frigging "original and innovative" thought process. Read the fucking FAQ'S

If you cant afford $4 to "try out" the premie membership then you need to re-evaluate your life.

I think that the rating system is rather intresting...and I think it can help the site by keeping people intrested. Others sites get a little dull after clicking a few things and not getting anything out of investigating the site. If you do have a strong intrest in the site and not a lot of time to use it then I think that membership would be better for you. For the others the longer one is online the more people they tend to meet and the more people will come back to VR.

Spend some more time on the site before you start a thread like this, my dear. It's been done to death. There are lots of other sites you can hang out. Personally, I think you're fishing for a way to get a free PM. But that's just me.

As for other sites that have a rating system, there is www.gameamp.com. Over there members can rate each other's forum posts. OH WOULDN'T THAT BE FUN, HERE!!?? Mu huh ha ha.
