There has been much talk on-line about the government surveillance programs designed to make us all safer.
It is now well known virtually all data is duplicated and stored for potential search should the need arise.
My question is this ?
Now it is generally accepted amongst the scientific community, we are almost certainly not alone...
Is it wise to have an earthbound data base that can Geo- locate, predict actions, friends, relatives and network nearly every single human on the Planet?
To my mind this is very high risk strategy? I sincerely hope the powers that be have a large bomb under this new facility as it is a total gift to a more advanced race...please feel free to discuss.
why worry about outsiders getting hold of it? is it not worrying enough that evil and corrupt men that rule over you have access to it? it is NOT there to protect us, any more than using tear gas and rubber bullets on peaceful demonstrations is done to protect democracy and free speech.
be afraid - be very afraid.
