The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

A couple of time this site has a few problems,I think the site should hav a off-site to go to when the site brakes down.Like 'www.fampfang.com' or something.What do you guys think about it?

Personally I think the idea is not a good one for these reasons;
A) It would add more work to Cancers already huge workload.
B)It would distract Cancer from what hes doing for this site in general.
C)When this site goes down some of the time it's down it's done for a reason or needs to be done so the coding Cancer inputs actually registers and also cause he can get the work done faster if the site isn't up.Meaning he gets tons of emails and messages...imagine being in his shoes a huge site full of ppl.Constantly on at all hours of day and night on this site and coding needs done and lots of it...



Sites do go down it is a part of being online .Sometimes it's down cause Cancer feels it best to take it down to get it working and the other small percent of times it's down is beyond Cancers control.

Servers do have issues from time to time and he is dealing with it the best he can,so if this site goes down(which really isn't all that much if you think about it compared to some sites i'm on (*coughsmyspacecoughs*)I suggest people just be patient and don't go getting in a panic.Cancer knows what hes doing and he is focusing on keeping this site running in tip top condition.

I highly doubt Cancer has the time or energy to build a site for when this site goes down.So I wouldn't expect anything like what your asking about.

The site down time is very short and very far between. Just be patient, perhaps do some searching and take a look at the other Vamp related sites. It should clear up any doubt that just waiting for VR to get back up and running is the best bet :)

All good points i mean why take resources from this site to maintain another that is just used in outtages.

maybe Cancer cud hire som assistants,
even just for his work on this site.

i think we shud all try to think of ways to raise sum extra funds for it.
after all he's done for us in creating this site it'd be gud to give sumthing bak.
(other than the funds it raises already that is)
