I've noticed that there are quite a few parents on this site, which is great.
My questions for you:
Do you intend to raise your child(ren) within your beliefs? If so, how do you plan to do this? How will you deal with the parents of your child(ren)'s friends as they grow older once these parents find out "who" you are?
(Quick disclaimer here. I'm a mother of 4. I'm not asking these questions to offend anybody. I just enjoy hearing other parenting styles because you never know when it'll help somebody else out.)
I'm almost certain this has been brought up before-- almost word for word.
I wouldn't be surprised if it were. It's an interesting subject.
I am not pushing my beliefs onto my children. They are free to do and believe as they like. If they have questions, I answer them. I don't believe any parent should push/force what they believe onto their children. Keep the doors open, there are so many religions and aspects to learn. Learn of different cultures, and religions Always leave the door open. Open minds are great gifts to have.
With that, I'll close up the thread.
