These entities are of unknown age. They are generally found in wilderness areas near large cities, and are presumed to feed off of the stray psi energy emitted by the people and animals living in the cities. They generally travel in packs.

As they are made of pure psi energy, it is presumed that these entities were at one time created, perhaps by Native Americans, or perhaps somewhat more recently by persons enamored of werewolf myths. It is likely that they are accidental creations. (A psi-active person walking through the woods at night thinks to himself, "this is just like a werewolf movie", and 'poof' some stray psi energy nearby assumes this form).

They defend wilderness areas. In appearance, they seem to be a mixture of human and wolf--they can run on four legs or two, have a muzzle, and no tail. Their features are very rough, and unfinished, with very little detail, eyes merely black spaces on their head. They are self-replicating.

http://parazoology.psionguild.org/psiwolf.html

IF you believe this to be true, can anyone explain any of their experiences with this type of thing? And can you provide any further information other than what I've gathered here?

There appear to be two subspecies of psi-wolf--one is smaller version, and the other slightly larger, and much more aggressive both toward the smaller subspecies and toward intruders.

The larger version in particular should be considered very dangerous. In one incident, a psi-wolf kept pace with a vehicle, and hit the side of the car with an audible thud--a paw sized (well, dinner-plate-sized, the size of the psi-wolf's paw....) dent was found in car-door later, along with two clear paw-prints in the dust on the window and door of the car.

Wow, I've never heard of that. That's really interesting though, I almost wouldn't mind having an encounter with one, lol.
It does make sense, how they could be created by a psi-active person though. I think its a good possibility there might be one out there.

It makes sense...... with random killings of various pets that are unexplainable. The ones that are explained usually end up being coyotes or bears depending on where you live of course. Even Cougar.

Anything is possible I suppose.

I did have an experience when I was around 12 or 13...this could be related.I was staying at my nephews house for the weekend...we are only 5 years apart in age.We were out most of the day...and it was getting dark out so we headed to his house...which you have to cross a small creek and walk up a dirt path...cross a set of tracks and then up another hill.Anyhow as we reached the tracks..there was a noise coming from our left on the tracks...we turned to see what looked like a lion...but much bigger. It was on all fours...huge mane of hair and long sharp fangs. If I had been alone I would have thought I was seeing things...but he saw it as well.It took a step toward us and I picked up afew big gravel from around the ties..I threw one at it and it growled...it took another step and I hit it in the head.It stopped growled...let out a low growl ...then turned to walk away...as it turned...it raised up on its hind legs...took two steps...turned and looked back...its eyes turned red glowing....it in turn ran down the tracks on its hind legs.

Well after seeing something like that I would not doubt that they exist. I have yet to see anything outside of my home. I would love to be able to see something without having the ever living crud scared out of me.

Not in response to your calling of the twilight bark, but I do have submitted documentation for your pleasure...

Loup Garou

This link is for legend and folklore purposes only, not to be manipulated for selfish gain.

As for the essence of energy taken by the psi-garou, this phenominon is coherant with other studies, such as with the psi-vamp of pop culture.

It is understandable as to why society claims animals have been eaten by wild animals, but it is unlikely either a coyote or a mountain lion would harvest a tendancy to feed off livestock.

In short, the mistaken identity of such predators could be seen as the smaller version of the garou doing the deed.

Not to mention Native Americans held the Wolf up high; a very important animal to them for many reasons. It leads me to believe that the energies that alot of people claim as ghosts are not only that of the humans but also that of the wolves.

Firstly I would have to say, of course wild animals will take pets/livestock if they can...easy pickings.

Secondly, if you are talking about forms/creatures created by humans as 'energy' then would'nt they 'need' direction ?.....would they not fizzle out as it were once their creators had gone ?

Cool! Never heard of such a thing.

Though I must ask - if you could easily create things just by thinking of them wouldn't "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends" need to be real?

Ok, here's a weird thought - it says they are usually found on the outskirts of large towns or cities.

Could this perhaps be a gathering of spiritual energies from all the poor animals that died as a result of the loss of habitat so the humans could expane their dwellings?

I think I may believe that more than these things could come into being through thought. - Just my opinion.

I still believe it has something to do with the Native Americans and their love for wolves. It seems more feasible in my pea brain.
