I hope that this question is not too far out in left field. :)

1) Are you able to detect the difference in the blood types of your Donors?

2) Is there a particular blood type that you prefer to drink?

3) If so, is is due to taste and/or because you have found each type to have its own distinct energizing qualities?

i am sang and i do not know if it's just me but i honestly cannot tell the difference from one type to another,wow i am wondering if others can.

i can't tell the difference in blood types. maybe it's because i've only had two donors but it's never made a difference to me

If you drink any form of blood, you need to book yourself into the local mental health clinic.

Until i actually see someone drinking blood AND enjoing it (And this person is Not already a lunatic) Then i wont enter threads like this, pull out my lighter, and attempt to burn the thing to ashs.

Just because someone drinks blood and enjoys it doesn't mean they are insane. Personally eating snails sounds crazy to me but people pay money to do that everyday and we don't lock them up in a mental ward.

Now more to the topic, no two people have the exact same chemical make up so slight variations in taste are likely to occur even within the same blood type. Even the same person will have variations depending on what and how recently they have eaten and or drank since the blood sugar level of a person is not a constant. Whether or not a person can detect these differences would depend on just how sensitive their taste buds are which again varies by individual. If a person trains themselves they should be able to tell differences since some wine tasters can identify a particular wine by taste.

Who am i? Obviously the only sane person here.
After having read the reply's, i made my judgment of this thread and the people that replied to it, Is there a problem with that?

Anyway,I dont feel a person can possibly tell what type of blood a peep has..whether they call themselves a Vampire or not.Anemia maybe,but type? No way.

i think faceless is to closed mind to contribute anything worth while,but on another note i thing there is only a vague difference in the taste of sang not enough for me to tell the difference.

I don't consciously realize a specific blood type, but during a trip to the doctor the a friend had given me a ride to, she overheard the doctor mention my blood type and it turns out she had the same blood type. This became a point of interest for us and we later discovered that the majority of our cluster of friends had the same blood type. Type O positive, which is supposed to be rare right..... but the vast majority of my friends have also had this blood type. I don't know if it's just a random coincidence, or if there is something that actually magnetizes us toward each other.

I doubt magnetism in the case not counting the iron in the blood. But thats another thing, the actual make-up of blood.
Almost every one is built out of the same composites of matter with the exception of a few chromosomes, the thing we don't have is the same soul.

But anyway my main point is that elements like iron, salts, and other more apparent matter over power any chromosomal flavoring.

I am not a vampire but I do know the difference in the taste of blood.
I have tried different blood types and I guess it is not so much the blood as the person you are with. In our culture (choctaw indian) We were taught to fight and that it is in the blood of your other person that you take a taste of their blood if you win. For it builds you up as a warrior. Much like vikings took heads and put them on trees and then somehow christmas trees have orientments. It is taking apart of that persons spirit.
When you hunt again if you take a life you must prep it and take in its esence not to offend the animal you kill. There is a difference in people and animals.. Most people taste metal like. Animals donot have that same taste they are sweeter based. Probably because they are one with god at all times. None the less blood in our culture is not to drink it out of craziness but out of a sacred act of intaking that beings soul.
We all bleed the same but we also arent the same for we all have our divine purpose. As far as vampires go I have no clue. I just think they are neat to observe.

If we were to tell society our secrets, would they be secret? The natural Trueblood, can tell the differance between any blood, no matter what type it is. This is by natural instinct.

Of course I do agree with the wine smelling and tasting bit. If you cannot tell just by these two calculations, then you are by no means...Vampire.

As far as the judgement from the berater goes, to each their own. No need to take offense to idle flamers.

I have to agree animal blood is sweeter. No tso sure on the closer to god thing as a reason, but if you think about their diet compared to ours and how much crap we put into our body, their diet is much more natural.

My opinion for those who think they are vampires just because they drink animals blood to "survive" or what ever, are not vampires at all, just some lame arse individual who wants to stake claim as being a vampire just because they drink animals blood...Give me a break people.

By the way, there is no differance between supposed "sang" and "psi", these two terms are just stereotypes to put the individual into two differant categories when dealing with one "vampire." All brought on by one Aaron Todd Aka Father Sebastion of the "black veil." Get off it already people. Were are not living in a realm of roleplaying...Grow up!!
