Based on the replies of the last three threads I have posted,have built up to this one.

If indeed stones, colours and music with their different attributes and properties as they effect the human body, mind and energy I pose the question could one create an alternative healing method using stones, colours, music, herbs and energy?

well alot of people do use the combination of all 3, the color of the room, the type of music that is played and the different gemstones that are used. So that is really nothing new.

Been going on for a long time...as I had stated in your other thread,its more of a combination.

Of course. I use Lavendar when my mood is bad, and carry a crystal to help me to stay calm. I also meditate in a room with music...a combination of herbs burning and gemstones of the chakras to help me to balance myself. To heal within...

well my friend i would have to say it is probable that that happens and infact most people who you some combination of the 3 (music,stones/gems,and colors of certain intrest) does infact heal or give a sence if good feeling or a sence of refreshnss as some say it does aid ones mind,body,spirit and soul to a either good or bad clencing and it helps define and determin how one is or is going to be lator on. also it is a good way too tell what type of person they are which is easyer when desiding friends and what not tho i can be wrong this is just my personal oppion on the matter. also there is another type of healing you didn't mention and that is meditation and yoga which is practiced more and more threw out the world as a ulternate means os self peace and inner strengh and healing of the body as well as a mind clensing of what is bothering you making you better focused and centered with-in yourself.

I am sure they could and I am sure in part they have done that some where. maybe not completely but parts of it.

I would say it is a good bet if you use a combination of things then yes for sure it would heal.. But the question is what combo fit what person.

That right there is what determines a good healer and a crummy one.;)

One can create alternative healing methods using a combination of any methods.

Even medical science does this through the use of medicine, physical therapy, psychotherapy and even more holistic healing practices...

Exactly Birra.One thing is for sure,when you start to study medicine,you find that you cannot just study or use one thing to heal.Learning about one pretty much leads to the study of another..like a chain really.

As always my dear hits it right on the nose, once you learn about one thing it leads to another and another and once you have mastered a few of them the rest will come in time .

I believe that is true with herbs. I actually have a theraputic herb manual that has a guide and list to many herbs for cures of thyroid disorders, certain cancers, and many other things.

Yes, herbs provide us with Alchemic resonance.So in combination with sound(pressure wave) colour(electromagnetic) and alchemy(chemical resonance),it is easy to see how these things work very well in combination.One of the main reasons for study and practice is learning how to create these resonances and push them into every cell of the body.Thats part of it anyways.
And hey,this is all just my own thoughts based from my studies ..doesnt mean its correct.

well yes you can I mean many healers of old would use them and many of your wiccans still do as well as other believers in such healing arts.

i mean back in the days they did use combo healing..I mean they do now a days as well but back then they tried everything.. I guess lack of resources.

yes there are religions that believe stones, crystals, and colors will help in recovery of illness, and also help to protect the person

I think the best is to combine medical science with the use of color,sound,rocks. For this would fix all ,medicine like it should be-what YOU need, not what is given out.

Anything you do to help make the person feel better will help in the healing of them

The combination of different elements to heal with is something that can be done. The main thing that I would really say is that it really depends on the person that is doing the healing and what works best for them to use. One must also figure in what is or works best on the person being healed as well.

I would ask, healing as in Curing an ailment/medical condition, or treating symptoms?

Very true dabbler. As it depends on the ailment (sp) as to how or what to use in the combination.

There is a strong likelihood that a percentage of people that go to Faith Healers, are actually posing as sick, or ailing for the social attention as well, there fore they 'respond" well to healing, even doctors have patients like this.

What is the hope of a person attending a alternative healer? Are they seeking to be Cured Physically, or to have the symptoms aleviated/

I utilize all of the things you mentioned to promote healing and a sense of well being in my clients.
It would be silly to not use any element at your disposal to create a more positive experience.
