Check out this website and tell me what you think about the age if you agree with Egyptologists or if you think they are wrong. I personaly Believe that the Sphinx is older than previously suggested and I believe it contains the secrets to the orrigins of man and the lost civilization. Your thoughts?

I'm a bit of egyptologist myself, and i would have to say that the information presented on that website is very interesting indeed. It definately poses some good questions. But the one thing that i would like is what really lies below the sphinx and the surrounding areas. There is most definately enough information to warrant a search and excavation, but i just think that the egyption authorities don't want that to happen incase it reveals something that will contradict what they believe to be the truth for thousands of years. Anyway, that's just my thoughts :P

I think the sphinx was built around the time of ramses. which one i am unsure but may be it was one of them. the sphinx is a mystery to all. i used to want to go there and just starr at the big face of the pharoah on that lion. too bad doubt that will ever happen.

I agree with blairwitch on the period of its building, but it is a mysterious thing. I think there are a lot of thinsg right under our noses that contain vital hidden information about our past, if only we looked.

The Sphinx to my knowledge and credence (no matter if its wishful or logical) I stick to the conclusion that it was built much before 12,000B.C together with the great pyramid, I dont believe it has anything spectecular rather then itself, perhaps at those times it served some purpose or it could have been just monument, I wouldnt come as a surprise if it wasnt humans (earthlings) who built it..but then it owuld have just been adopted by he following culture egyptian and made it part of them..copying the great pyramid etc..

One fact (I didnt mind reading the webpage till now sorry) its simply that stone cannot obviously be carbon dated..so unless we have some way to date stone (per statues) we cant hope of being given definitive answers..oh btw ramses might have "hijacked" the great pyramid having noticed that it wouldnt have been used by that time LOL

there is a book I found a while ago concerning scientific facts that science refuses to acknowledge
some of the researchers who found these things have had their careers ended due to their findings

there is an entire chapter on the process of dating stone bvy the erosion patterns in the stone, and the erosion patterns in the sphynx date to far older than is suggested....and the geologist who pointed this out has been blocked from any further work in egypt since he published these findings.

I was considering posting some of the scientific jargon on this....but it's an entire chapter...so if your interest4ed just find the book......but it's rather conclusive that the egyptologists are both wrong and are actively hiding the fact....

I'm not much of a conspiracy freak, but in this case, I would tend to believe there is some sort of cover-up. Edgar Cayce (a man I greatly admire) foretold long ago that the Akashic Records would be found under the Sphinx's paw. If they were found, as they are a source of incredible power, I can see everything that is reported to the public about the Sphinx being distorted.

What is at stake here is the fact that Egypt will no longer be considered the first civilized people as they claim to be. That is why they wont allow the dating.

I agree, it puts in jeopardy what they have beleived in for thousands of years. There whole history would have to be re-written entirely if the geologists were correct. They don't want this to happen, so they have stopped anyone that wishes to continue the research.
