The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I was reading the thread about the meaning of life and wondered if any of you have any instances where you thought there might be something beyond life or something more to life and what is seen/felt...or maybe is it an individual's gift to be able to see more than than the average person?

Like for instance, I saw the doorway to one's soul and seen through the doorway in their eyes...nothing like what poetry sees, but visions of their thoughts, and felt how they felt, in one big chaotic explosion of reality that what I was seeing/feeling was not your normal eye contact-connection, but something so powerful, the only thing you could feel at first was the fear of knowing something you weren't supposed to. This happened to me as a child first with animals, and progressed with people. A gift given, or a gift earned? Does everyone have this within them, or is it something that only some will experience and others will never know, or even think they do?

Have any of you ever had something happen to you that makes you question "life" and what's within it, or beyond it? I'd love to hear your stories...
