Ghost hunters will be on Halloween … live

i think the show has found many ghost events .. and do a good job of proving natural events.

What do you think they will find?

Yeah I am really amazed by that show. I am so into ghosthunting have had many experiences myself.

We had a place up North in Payson, AZ. My grandparents bought a huge piece of land before they started building onto it, and I really do believe that there are buried people under that property.

There we had placed a trailer with a built on master suite, and Arizona room to it. So basically it had 3 bedrooms, 2 the size smaller than hell, and the master room the size of the apartment I lived in now, and 1 bathroom. The bathroom was in the trailer, and my bedroom door was right in front of it so I can hear EVERYTHING coming down the hall. I was all alone for a week this was the Summer of '97, and my grandparents went to California for a week to Big Bear. So it was just me, and my two lil tea cup dogs..

Well everynight at 4:27 am the bathroom light had been turned on, and someone flushing the toilet. I awoke to that every morning that week.. and I had all the lights off at night, and just the TV on, and the bathroom door was always open, and I would awake to it shut with the light on like someone was in there. I heard grunting, and coughing kind of dealy down the hallway too after the fact of the flushing ordeal.

On the last night I was alone I stayed awake, and had my cousin from up the road come stay with me, not cos I was freaked, or anything. I just wanted him to see if I was being a looney..

The fucking thing that was making the noise was a male who was dressed in what appeared to look as old mining clothes, and had dirt all over him..

My cousin had his jaw drop!

And was then freaked out the rest of that Summer.. He actually left early to go back down to Phoenix..

I believe.. I have more things I have encountered, but that being the one that stuck with me since I was younger.

I think it's safe to say that they'll find more ways to dramatize finding absolutely nothing of substance -- the same thing such programs have been finding since their inception.

They did the same thing last year. It was pretty cool. I plan on watching it again this year.

I love the show.. yeah I was watching the one cruise.. where they supposedly had the bed made in one room..and they had the camera on the bed and it did undo the bedding...Oh it was the Queen Mary yeah!

I won't be able to watch it live but am going to set the DVR to record it.

The TAPS team are very professional in what they do, unlike some other teams that I have seen.

They will probably find some things and debunk other things, with that said, I feel the skeptics will remain skeptical and the believers will be glued to the tv:)

So I was watching SciFi channel all night, and mostly it was the TAPS show marathon, but then the Children from the Grave show was on.. I don't think I like how they over dramatized the show. TAPS is thorough, and well planned ahead, and try to find other things that might have caused it. If not they defo know it was real..

Some things get taken into dramatics on TV to either scare the hell out of some people, or take it up tops to get the place some more attention for other ghost hunters to look at.

I really am excited about Halloween this year, cos all I will be doing is watching SciFI!

They got a good photo of a ghost sat at a table in new Zeeland … well worth the attempt to drag it out so adverts can be forced in to make more money .. how I miss English TV.
There the adverts arnt loader than the show or cutt in at alarming increasing events that you forget what your watching or im ADD

Still back to the post … cant wait, the theatrics will be on and people screaming just like cloverfield movie

I love watching T.A.P.S. and can only hope that this year is something very exciting. I love how they try to debunk what goes on. I will not be able to watch it live but plan on recording it.

Damnit.. I was watching something on another channel, and it had a ghost throw a brick at one of the camera men!

I don't know about if it was real, but I believe it was. I can not believe the hostility of this spirit! I would be pissed if someone came around my space of haunting too...

I am watching it as I type this. I have also been logged onto the live webcast and have even posted a couple questions.
Did you all hear the "You are not supposed to be here!"? Twice! That was pretty cool. It is the first time while watching the investigation that I heard a disembodied voice that was not an EVP. Very cool.

Yes MoonMystic! I sure heard all of that, and then some. I saw a lot of orbs on the live feed! I also saw the book on the mantle shaking, and saw the ghost pulling Grants collar on his jacket! OMG THAT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW!

The only thing I hated about it was the fucken celebrity people trying to promote their show, and themselves! That Miz guy was totally obnoxious, and needed to be taken out of the show pronto for he was making me turn the channel everytime!

I think that the group with Miz in it would have gotten more feedback with the ghost without him in it, because he was not into it, and kept talking about himself. HE IS A FUCKEN DUNZ!!

No doubt! the Miz wouldn't shut up so how could they hear anything? And what a chauvinist, chick magnet my ass!
As for the orbs...there was a lot of dust it was hard to tell. I'm like Jason where orbs are concerned, they don't really impress me so much. It is to hard to tell if it was dust, or a bug, or something. Even if it was a real orb that is just a ball of energy not necessarly a spirit. But, I too saw Grants jacket get tugged, you could even see it bunch up as if it was being gathered up and then pulled. I really feel that place had both residual and intellegent hauntings. What an amazing show, I can't wait till Wed for the results show.

So I did get to watch it, however I didn't get to enjoy it very much mainly because I was sick with some kind of stomach thing. No, I didn't get any candy. Anywho...so I watched it and dozed off, then watched, and dozed off. But I did happen to hear the "You're not supposed to be here!" thing. It was cool. What I did see, was awesome.

When it is dust the orb's just fall down, and I saw at least a handful of them all thru the show. When the orb is flowing up, and side to side.. it sure the hell lets me know that it is more than dust, or a bug. Although there is a lot of dust in there I am not keen on orbs either, but that place I want to visit!

I think they will obtain a great deal of EVP's as they have in the past i havn't seen it yet but I think that they will actually find figures things that they can honestly say are ghosts..

I dvred it and haven't watched it yet but my mom called me to tell me about this Miz character and Krysten, my doesn't think that they were very professional at all, that they were laughing and carrying on and not really into investigating so what's all of your opinions on this? I haven't seen it but when I do watch it, I will post back and let you know what I think.

I believe that if you're into this line of work and being on live, you should be professional and yes sometimes it gets crazy and some of the things Steve does is funny and it breaks the monatny of things and it's all in good fun, however, when is enough enough?

I want to see TAPS secure a house, or site with fixed cameras, and do at least three days, of around the clock motion sensitive cameras thermal as well. Fixed and roving mikes as well.

Damn, I missed it taking care of the treaters here in the neighborhood...

My view on paranormal groups and investigators:

1. The "dark" or under lighted areas can create a mystical concept within the mind, and the mind may continuously attempt to make sense of shapes, and a funny trick it plays on it self it is.

2. When the mind attempt to makes sense of things it will relate sounds and smells to what it is attempting to compute.

So in the end, unless I see some hard proof from any group, it’s the mind with that certain person or persons.

I am not saying that the paranormal does not exist in some area of the universe, theoretical or not.

Add to that the considerable hoax nature of man, and the endless list of basic, and complex theatrical effects. That can simulate ghost activity. Example the common effect of a house being pressure prone, can cause a door at the end of a hall to slam, when another door in the house is shut or open. This same vacuum can be used to base a number of effects off of. Some can occur without crafting. I would think that TAPS would present a few rigged effects for ratings. Here we are in a time when already people are Jaded by the "Actual" footage, (unaltered). Ghost images.

That is exactly why I like T.A.P.S. They come at their investigation with a scientific approach and try to de-bunk the claims of "ghosts". Only when there is no explanation to be found do they call it paranormal, or "above the normal". They will very rarely come out and say a place is definatly "haunted".

I watched the one where they pull the father aside and tell to either move their bed, or fix his floor board.. when there was activity in and around the bed in his and his wifes room.. the guy blushed, they probly where going at and knocking things off the walls in the hall.

Out of all the Ghost investigating shows there are, TAPS is by far the most accurate and thorough. The others I can't watch without thinking that it's a bunch of bull.

Not everything is haunted and TAPS will say if it is to them or not, they try to debunk quite a bit of stuff.

However, not everything can be debunked or explained. As I have stated before, skeptics will always remain skeptical and the believers will always believe.

I am a believer, there's too many things I've experienced throughout my life that can't be explained. Does it mean that everything I've witnessed or heard was or is paranormal, NO...do I try to persuade the other side to become believers...NO..do I wish for their opinions to be forced upon me, NO...can both sides get along, yes. There's a happy medium. In my opinion, we need skeptics in the world to keep us grounded!!!
