''Term used to describe events in which a person experiences a past scene. This scene may have happened recently, or many centuries in the past. Sight and sound may be involved either separately or together. The possibility of viewing the past obviously carries the implication that, in some cases, the past is still in existence and accessible. But, however difficult that idea may be, it does not raise the difficulties caused by the idea of premonitions. There, the uncomfortable corresponding suggestion that in some way the future is already in existence and accessible produces painful paradoxes.''

We've all heard of people with the ability of foresight [premonitions] and there are those of us who may have experienced a premonition.
But I've noticed that there are very few stories [compared to premonition] of those with the ability of retrocognition.
I really must wonder a few things.
Has anyone ever met someone with/possess this ability of seeing into the past?
Do you think, as the article suggests, that the past is still around in some other existence or dimension? Would it be possible for us to, perhaps someday in the future, be able to travel back to then if so?
Do you think with an ability such as this perhaps flawed history could be corrected if someone who truly has this ability were to come forth to help?
