I've seen many people here who practice ''white'' magick, ''black'' magick, ''Chaos'' magick, ''Blood'' Magick, and the like, but have yet to meet anyone who claims to be a user of Huna.

What does everyone think of this type of magic? Is it something you would practice were you to have the chance? Or does anyone you know or you yourself practice said magic?

What exactly do you think about what they who practice Huna believe? Is it much different from what people who practice other types of magic believe?

Actually that seems to be the best description for the sorts of things i work with. I havent heard it in those terms before, thanks for this new direction. It should be interesting to determine more about it.

I have heard many references to Hawaiian and shamanic techniques and the such originating from those islands but to do so in a way which elaborates more on their viewpoints. It does bear much in the way of possible questions.

As far as how it relates to the work in my own practices, its very based on the level of mind one has, and their ability to channel within those minds the forces they wish to develop.

what i know of huna is that its Hawaiian shamanism. i have a few books but havent really gotten into it to far. but i have 2 Hawaiian totems on my alter. my mom's friend is Hawaiian and has taught me some things about her native practices. its really cool what i read i liked like one of the philosophies which states; "every thing is every body's fault".

i also know that the warrior sect would compete for manna, in battle. also kings or tribal leaders would compete (battle) for manna, some what vampyric.

The Huna is the Hawaiian version for Spiritual Alchemy...The practice to achieve the Higher Self. Which does include the 3 stages of the body. Lower, middle, and high. I do practice it, but in its differant wording of Spiritual Alchemy. Huna is a very "rolls of the tongue nicely" sort of word.

Thinking this I almost sound like vampire version of christian who likes to take everything and make it about jesus lol but thats not my point here lol.

I think, for me anyway, this is very close to at least one of the types of magick that I work with. I dont follow a specific set of guidelines except for as they pertain to that specific types of magick.

I use what I guess you could call vampire magick which roughly works as thought-form and is very specifically related -according to that piece at the the intro- to Huna magick, in that life-energy (for me derived from sanguine practices) is akin to mana. It can be moved, worked, molded, and changed. It can be helpful or dangerous depending on who and how it is used.

I imagine that, given the chance to actually study this type of magick, I would pick it up rather quickly and use it with frequency.

This I think is also related to the Anasazi verson of Chaos magick where in chaos floats in cloud like forms and is always around us, waiting to be plucked from the ether and molded and used to bend the universe and the world we know to our will and imagination.
