It's a story about a girl named Jody, who was made into a vampire and needed someone (human) to do things for her during the day...and they got along well and also went thru trials and stuff ( their relationship and fighting an evil 800 year old vampire)

(yes, she's called, Super Vamp!)

Hamilton's Anita Blake series.

Not quite as much humor in the later additions to the series, but parts have had me laughing out loud.

I found Rice's Tale of the Body Thief pretty amusing as well. Her extensive use of detail and imagery used to depict everyday events that nearly all humans take for granted.... priceless.
