It started with a feeling that something dark was around me. It made me feel really nervous. Then things would move around. I'd put something somewhere and then it would end up somewhere else. The first time I actually saw something move on it's own, I thought it was just my imagination. I did just see it on the corner of my eye. Then a few weeks later I watched as one of my action figures slid across the top of my dresser at least a foot. I freaked. Still, I kept it to myself. Things like this went on for a long time. Then the voice came. It said things to me during the night that scared the hell out of me. One day just had enough and told me dad about it. He spent a few minutes in my room and immediately knew something wasn't right. I'll never forget the look on his face. Like me, he had a powerful sense for these things. I didn't know it at the time but we come from a long line of mediums. My dad asked me to leave the room for a few hours leaving him alone. I heard talking through but I couldn't make out what was being said. I could've sworn I heard two voices. A few hours later my dad came out with a nasty scratch across his face. He told me that it was gone and it wouldn't ever come back. I asked him what it was and how he got rid of it. He said it wasn't important. All that mattered was that it was gone and it wouldn't be back. My dad died of cancer in September 2001 and left me a note with the things he wished me to have. It said that he did something that bound him to some kind of an oath not to tell me what was stalking me until the day of his death. He said that it was Belial, a demon known for possessing people and using them to hurt others. This confused me because it was around for a long time and I was never possessed. I later learned that my being autistic may have protected me from possession. Some kind of repellent because of my physical energy being different. Whatever the reason, I'm very happy. From what I read, Belial has caused many problems. It was the same demon that possessed Anneliese Michel in the mid 70's. She was the young woman The Exorcism of Emily Rose was based on.
