How should a collective address drug use?
What is the difference between sacrament substances ( medicine), and recreational use?
Note to admin. I feel an important issue was left open after the last thread was closed.
Drugs exist in degrees, from hard drugs, to nicatine, and liquor class.
Any of these have inheirant problems if allowed to become a major factor in a group setting.
A real potential danger is that a group member may feel pressured to expirement with a substance thinking that since it is done in a " spiritual collective" that it is inagagral to be part of that collective.
This is the blurred line between Receational use, and sacramental use.
While anything done away from the group by group members cannot be
" regulated", it can be requested that no substances be used in presence of
group activity.
If a group is built up with people invited to delve into substance use, the group can pretty much be written off as failed .
I agree Dabbler. I feel terrible that my old thread went the direction it did. I posted it because it was something I did want discussed, much like yourself. Thank you for reopening the idea.
My feelings are very similar. though a community may not be able to regulate drug use or enforce a ban on it, they can chose to request that it is not to be apart of anything that has to do with the community.
I personally feel that if an individual chooses to make the decision to use/abuse. It is their choice. Until it becomes something that is causing problems for that individual or that problems begin to carry over into a community, then it can/will be addressed by an authoritve figure.
Nobody can control a personal decision of someone else or how they feel about the use/abuse of any type of drug within any community/circle.
Aplaud to you Rabynion, but the reality is different, the chains of control will be painted as freedom as long as the people let it. By far; while we are focused in other things they are focusing in making their "agendas" worth validity and remain constant. We will remain as such unless people cry out loud for a reform of values and authority as well, which is looking pretty far from reality. The people fear the authority when is the authority that needs to fear the people. But o well, what can you do is fairy tale- when the majority sees things the other way. If only politics and secularism wasn't united to bare a country amendment we wouldn't have this masked "freedom".
"secularism" - with apostrophes(quote and unquote) haha!
Please Ilum consider posting your reply to the post, as once again your post regarding the post of another persons post is unclear.
Are you " on the fence" regarding drug use in Collectives?
My post is an extension of the why's in given society is seemed control the use/abuse of x individual and the point Rabynion expressed in her previous post, please retract your insolence if you do not comprehend my points, their is a group of individuals in this website that controls this kind of flaws of system, if its in fact deviated from the subject let them do their job. Now please seize your lecturing or intent of correction when is merely inappropriate in this terms you present- and its getting irritating in every thread i share my views.
Your views are always on the post of others, never on topic.
Fine then be incohernt no sweat off my back.
Is it a crime here to respond on comments of others, or even "incoherently"? yes I believe is understandable to avoid what you don't comprehend, it will save both of our times. Im not here to explain you twice a point so lets keep it incoherently as you state, if i can recall it was an open commentary, not directed to you, be aware when i post a message directly to you, and if you do not comprehend I will reiterate to make my point clear in a way you can relate when I truly need your view worthy of acknowledgment.
Your point is a Non point, there is no substance to anything you post here.
All you clearly state is.. objection to something you nit picked from another persons post. I ask again, what is your opinion on the topic.. or are you just awaiting more post to slash at? I personal relate well to Rabinious post, I am unclear as to what you object.
I'm afraid once again this "discussion" has gone into the argumentive form of a no win situation.
Drugs are and have always been a very touchy subject and everyone has their own personal opinion on them. There's no right or wrong that can be decided by continuing this matter.
Admin please reconsider closing this thread, and consider deleting Ilums off topic tangent.

Never reopen a thread once closed by VR staff. We don't RIA threads anymore, anyway.
