im reading a really interesting book about the titanic.it says that the ship was sunk on purpose for the insurance.they expected to californian to come to the recue but it was in the wrong location.after the titanic was rammed by a black ship it just sat and waited for ages and the californain did likewise waiting for the right signal.the titanic started sending out radio signals when they realised that help was not coming and things where going horribly wrong.the carpathia saw the ship which hit the titanic when they where steaming to the rescue.
