I have always been fascinated by dragons. I'm not sure why. There is just something about them that has always peaked my interest. Recently, something new came to mind that makes me even more interested in them. Many civilizations all over the world who never had any contact with each other have myths and stories of dragons. Now, how could that be if they never really existed? There are some who believe that dragons were one of the last species of dinosaur to die off and that some of them may have co-existed with man for a time. One species of dinosaur which looks much like a dragon is the Dracorex. They don't have wings, but other than that, they come pretty close. They are closely related to the Pachycephalosaurus. Please, share your thoughts and theories.

There are also many civilizations that never had contact with one another that record a great flood. Some things are almost universal so there would appear to be a common thread, a truth, that exists, or at least once existed.
I am not one to believe that because a myth or legend exists that it must be true. But when it crosses cultural, geographical, and spiritual boundries then I have to believe that there is some kind of "truth" behind it.

As there are plenty of forum threads already opened with this subject, I would peruse the forum search bar if I were you for any open threads that are remaining to further them along.

oh, ys are real as are fairys... one day people will find them... scientist don't know everything

All depends on what you believe and if there is fossilized proof.

Now..if dragons ever existed,where would one look for evidence of their habitats.For fossils of skulls,bones etc. as well as other evidence other than legends and fables.I understand not everyone trusts in science or scientific proof...but I do.

There can be 1000 tales and stories of dragons,myths and legends.Until you have some physical proof of their existence,then they are just legends.

Again with the dragons... didn't we already have this forum thread before? If someone starts talking about dragons and astral planes, I'll know that I've been here before.

What do dragons have to do with astral planes?

beats me, but last time we talked about dragons some people suggested that they only exist in the astral plane... and that's when my brain exploded.

I think dragons fascinate people because they simbolize strenght and freedom , and they look really freaking coolso , in my point of view , doesnt really matter if they exist or not , as long as they live in our imagination!

I believe that dragons do or at least did exist on this plant I mean look at the lizards and Komno dragon Lizard... they had to of evolved from some place...

Actually, there is a thread in the Sand Box regarding, dragons. Please do a Forum search or look through the Main Forum sections before posting threads. Thank you.
