dont you hate how people always try to one up you? Do you got anyway to do it in a nonviolent manners?
This seems more like either a poll question, or a complaint piece for the journal section.
Perhaps the gist of this question is how to deal with people who seem always to be playing the game of one upmanship ?
In that case I would say the best way to deal with this kind of thing is with laughter.
Easier by far when a person gets a little older.
You see, if you use harsh words or violence with people like that as well as breaking the law, you allow them to use you in a way that makes them seem to be the 'better' person.
Laugh at them, move on with your own life and be the 'better' person yourself.
By simple not providing them fodder. Don't share anything personal with them, stick to current affairs, and general small talk.
There always seem to be those kinds of people out there. If you just ignore them they seem to get the hint and just go away after a while. Don't stoop to their lever.
This is more suited as a journal entry though good advice has already been given here.
