Can anyone hear help me seperate fact about vamps and the fiction about them?

To me it is like to giant puzzles that have gotten mixed up over time.
maybe together we can all sort out some of these pieces.

You have opened a can of worm with this topic. The fact is that a True Vampire does not exist; it is called vampirism the belief in vampires, the behavior of a vampire.

Now for those who might say “If they don’t exist how do we know how they behave?” Based upon myths and legends and writings plus my favorite, story telling.

Vampirism is recorded in history as a menta ldisease. But with the bleliefs circulating at the time that this appeared it was seen as satanic works of a cult and they were persecuted for an urge that they could not control.

wot i mean is can we seperate out the fiction from mythos and legend?

i dont believe its possible..some have tooo long of history to trace back to the source of the truth

This is just one big Pandoras box here. Theres so much involving this one specific topic. To many facts and fictions...over the years they were blended and mixed. It's hard to decipher what is real and what isnt. Movies arn't helping either. LOL

It also depends on whether you mean the undead, immortal beings, or living vampires.

So much fact has been skewed in stories and movies that it's nearly impossible to separate truth from fiction in many cases.

I think he means living vampires ... vs the fictional ones like .....damn it where is enigma for this post he's the gandalf type guy with all the wisdom on the subject .... infact if you do not get the answers you seek you should ask him
