Both actually. To the super-natural, I would blame it on the magnetic field of our Earth. Geo-magnetic correspondance speaks volumes.
As far as governmental conspiracy goes, didn't you know that the government controls the weather, temperature, colds, flu, earthquakes, tornados, not to mention typhoons, hurricanes and great floods.
*Clears throat* But seriously, there seems to be a rift (super-natural phenomenon) surrounding certain areas around this, our planet Earth that have been here for quite some time. Another place is the Vortex in Oregon, USA. I could name an entire list, but unfortunately we are on the topic of the Burmuda Triangle and not displacement theories of other geological sites.
The rift, could possibly be a dimensional vortex itself. A paradox if you will, that seems to feed off of this dimension. Sort of like a black hole within our atmosphere. Sounds very sci-fi, but anything is plausable.
I was under the impression that yes, the Burmuda Triangle was an anomaly in the earth's magnetic field causing compasses to go haywire and thus making seaman lost at sea. End of. It's just too easy to blame the unknown on a government conspiracy.
As for the Oregon Vortex, I've heard of it. I live in Oregon, but I have not seen it. I am, however, somewhat aware as to how it works. It has to do with the slant that the house or what have you is built on. It will appear that a ball defies the laws of gravity and climbs up a slanted board.
But moving back to the original topic at hand, I strongly believe against the theory the anomaly is a government conspiracy. Having said that... I don't even know if it's a theory.
Neither, the area by it's very nature is/ has been overwhelmed by multiple air traffic, all on various frequencies.
This accounts for a large number of "disappearances" in both air craft, and water craft.
The authors that propagate the triangle are at best tabloid journalist.
worth noting also is that even those who hash the trangle have all taken liberty with the area designation, attempting of course to inflate the number of " triangle related activity".
One such " expert" was offered a supervised grant, by national geographic, to study the area.. but he turned them down.. after he learned it was to be a supervised grant ( accompanied by documentary crew.)

Skeptics dictionary Brumuda triangle.
i have a few ideas.
one is that it is a government facility.
two is that its the gateway to hell
three is that its a black hole.
four is that atlantis is there.
Hype. The majority of " research" on the subject is done by biased individuals, who crunch as much " data" together to bolster their "astonishing discovery."
The "disappearances" are exgagerated, they always have been. Remember the area is divided between three frequency ranges ( juristictions) so the data is flawed, since the time frame in question, the irregularities have been resolved, and " disappearances" have ended.
There was a show on History (or perhaps Discovery) just a night or two ago; what Dabbler has expressed goes with all of it. Sensationalism, exaggeration...tabloid trash material. Even the imfamous disappearences of Flight 19 and its subsequent "rescue" plane have now been logically explained, and that was the last of the more famous disapperences. The area is known for freakish wave formations and such explanations as pilot disorientation and error have laid to rest most supernatural hypothesis of vessels disappearing "into thin air". As far as magnetic interference, that happens everywhere. The powerful Gulf-stream dispersal has been credited with wiping away any wreckage or other telltale signs of a crash in the water. As one spokesperson on the show put it, to locate a crashed plane or a sunken ship in those often turbulent waters would be like hunting for the perverbial needle in a haystack.
"two is that its the gateway to hell" You are kidding!!. The Bermuda Triangle has existed for many centuries and always has fascinated many humans. Most of the little that I know has to do with the compass in the plane. During a fly through the Triangle, the compass always act irrational, mean, it doesn't follow any point. And without compass, the plane get loss. The trick is, that never are founded. Where they go, who who knows. Is a mystery.
Natural effects of the weather and the water. yet I would ponder that not all disapearances are hoxed or prefabricated, and if it was the Gov't why would not more info be available.
Technically it is reasonable to ask those who seek " explainations for disappearances", to account for all the traffic ( ship, and aircraft) that doesn't dissappear in the area.
It is worth noting that even experienced captians avoid certain passages through that area, simply, and logically because of sand bars, reefs, and submerged aislettes.
Why can't it be supernatural. There are many things in this world that aren't explainable. The wonders of the world that are current now, still haven't been scientifically explained.
Crashes happen here because the pilots fly off course and run out of fuel. They'll swear the instruments are not working when in fact it is human error. A whole lot of nothing but water to go by is not a good thing. Mental fatigue and not trusting the equipment will do it every time. Add that to some of the bad weather flights and the , now known, water-sprouts it's no wonder they're not more crushes.
Nothing super-natural, government, or vortex thingy going on.
Nature at her finest. That's all.
And yes there are indeed other spots that have this bad weather. Some include; Pacific Ocean, India/Australia Greater Lakes, and even the Sea of Galilee! And we have heard some of those stories too. But it is nature and only natural behavior of that local. Unless you really need to believe in alien bases underwater doing the damage.
And continuing on this multiple posting theme,
water sprouts form in oceans in this area and will indeed bring down an aircraft. Several of them forming at a time (and they do this) will bring down a whole fleet! Showing no remains of anything on the surface. Think I'll stay away from the area - thanks.
I would have to say supernatural. Until the government own up to the fact they are doin something to cause the happenings it is unexplained and as such supernatural.
thank you. I believe its supernatural too. something is going on there and its not to do with nature.
well, one person has discovered the Bermuda Triangle's sercets and actually flew into the area and is still here. New evidence suggested that Flight 19 actually crashland into a swamp and that three air stations picked up on 5 signals that resembled the flight pattern of Flight 19. Flight 19 was said to be continuing flying west and never really disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. The gulf stream, or something, is said to be the factor that causes the planes and ships sinking in the Bermuda Triangle to change their location.
The idea that what one believes " has to be true", is being oblivious to the obvious. At one time, for a brief period, a person presented fabricated data to hype something as " a mysterious issue", eventually it was discovered to be unfounded. Had there been anything remotely serious regarding the " area" then pray tell why haven't sever measures been taken to devert air traffic, and sea craft away from there? Note since technological improvements have been adapted to reasonable address the issues in that grid, there gave been no " mysterious disappearances". Mystery solved.
If you are holding your breath for confirmation of some supernatural phenomena you will be holding your breath for a long time.
Is it the intent of people to simply say.." Well it is a mystery.. we may never know.. then to speculate hypathetical pet ideals?
or to pull back the mask, and to see what actually once appeared to support the writings if a tabloid hack?
I have gone over the triangle many times and I'm still here. Most of the MIA's happen when our technology was primative. The compasses were too sensitive and went "haywire".
