My original post was titled: what type are you and how did you figure it out? And below is my original text.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Such a simple question, and I know there will so many different answers.
For me, it is a simple thing. I can't stand the site of blood and never cared for the taste of it. And now that my health is a little off, my meds would prevent me from letting anyone feed off me anyway.
I get such a high though when I feed off energy. Certain types of music can be invigorating as well. I honestly can't say when I first figured out what I am, since I can remember energy feeding even back when I was really young.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The original intent of my question still stands. Are you sang or psi and how/when did you first realize it?

blood is sensuous, erotic....sipping it for me is prolly akin to what others experience when they use cocaine.

Those two labels are sort of limiting. There are more than two tags used for types of vampires in the modern community. I don't identify with either of them. With only those two choices I think most will say psi and why? Because they feed on various forms of energy although I don't recognize that distinction either...it really doesn't matter. Of course you will have those that only recognize sang feeding and I say to them, whatever. I have tasted blood but I don't go out of my way looking for it, nor would I want a donor.

I don't consider myself a vampire, sang or psi... but I do believe in the spiritual energies and the power of the mind. I have seen people that would be considered "psi vamps" they can be manipulators mentally and emotionally. They feed off your feelings and energy, but I don't consider myself to be that type of person. I'm still learning more but never once have I considered myself a blood sang vamp or a psi vamp.

i agree with what SteelIndigo said. just those two label are very limited when thier are so many different types of vampires out there. Most likely most are psi but most vampires have learned how to feed many different ways beside one. So how can some just say they are one or the other. Intil they can see if they can feed a different way or the way they feed is the way they prefer only then can one chose what type of vampire they are.

I have ask this question of many other people. What I have notice is that you can break sang/psi up by Ethnic backgrounds.

Irish, French, and Germanic backgrounds seem to have less of an aversion to blood, and partake in sang practices (some of the time). Where as a Spanish, African American, or Italian (some of the time) will tend to respect a Psi feeding more than the other. (I am not geneticist, but this is just what I figured from my questioning)

good point, it could be something to do with certain cultures having a history of using blood in their cooking. For example I have come across a lot of British sang vampires, and of course we are well known for our black pudding.

Still all the same, I would be surprised if most people did not asker as hybrid.

I was hoping that resposting the question in a different wording might help. I've never been a great orator (sp?). Peel back all the layers and I was just wondering what type of vampire (or whatever you call yourself) you are, and if you remember the first time you realized it.
