...to get to level 200?
I can understand the motivation to get to level 100 but, I find level 200 to be a rather boring pursuit. (my apologies if this offends)
Really, what can a level 200 do that a level 100 can't? There's really nothing other than your rate carrying more weight, is there?
What is your motivation to get to 200? What's there for you now?
Do you think there should be something there waiting? A bonus per-say?
Well when I get to 100 (Sire) I'm gonna be able to relax a bit more and spend some time doing updates in the Coven, to be honest and I agree with you, what is the point to make it to 200, If you do get to 200 I think there should be a prize at the end, like a lifetime membership that's if you don't already have one.
Agreed - a free "T"shirt, VR Bumper sticker and free admission to Vr Halloween/Christmas Ball.
yes but if they did that they would need to extend the LV MAX back a bit...like say to 500
I guess it would mainly be bragging rights and or a matter of pride. I'd like to get there but I'm not in any hurry. As for a prize I think something simple like a special tag below your avatar would be sufficient.
I apologize, I am not speaking of winning some kind of prize.
When a member begins their journey on VR, there are all sorts of things that they gain on the way to sire. i.e. the ability to post in the forums, start threads, post to the database...
The ultimate goal is to reach sire.
Now, when a member reaches sire they can open a coven.
After 100....nothing.
I guess I just don't understand the point of having a level 200 if a level 100 can do all the things a level 200 can do.
A matter of pride and bragging rights? That's it?
What if...
When you reach Royal sire, you gained the ability to sire 2 covens with the same profile?
I know, I know, why not just have one big coven?
Because, I believe that people like to use their imagination. You have one coven, it serves the needs of the members that you have. But, others don't want to join because they don't like that coven.
So, at level 200 you open another coven that you are also master of on the same profile. Thus, you can possibly gain those members that didn't want to join your first coven.
Is that a possibility? Am I missing something?
Seems a lot like the feeling of accomplishment- you hit a milestone in your time on the site, the first 100 levels give freedom from forced induction and the right to start your own society though I seem to be missing the point of it being anything but another minor accomplishment in your time here.
I hit a milestone, and man is my head sore!
That's the answer I am on board with.
Plus there is the Immortal ranks.
