As with any society, Vampires have Origin myths and cultures based on to some extent, things they dont understand. I'm basically asking about any Vampiric deities...

The one that pops to my mind is Elizabeth Bathory. 17th Century Hungarian Countess.

She would drain the blood from young servant girls and bathe in it.

She wanted to stay young and beautiful- and believed the blood would do this.

Here is another Fritz Haarmann-who killed his victims by biting their necks.

I know of tales people in the 'community' look up to... but I have never heard of any deities.

well alot of people goes by whats in movies and that is not what it is all about some have senseivity yes but not like they show on tv

Vampire Deities I really dont think that vampires would have any

hear of several being called, first vampire or super vampires, powerfull vampires, but deities...not at this point, but would be interested in knowing

Besides Lilit(h) in ancient Hebrew texts, Lamma to others, and even Lamia (Lilit's sister to the Romans, there are many vampire figures in many cultures. Most were/are seen as demons and not deities.

Kali, the Hindu deity is associated with vampiric practices.

There are the Atavists and worshipers of Ahriman.

Osirus and Isis have been regarded by some to be vampiric dieties and have been worshiped as such,

....a long time ago I was in contact with a group called the temple of the vampire, some psy vamp church setup...had a few good ideas...and much extraneous bullshit...like any religion...but part of their doctrine is following Ancient vampire spirits which are eternal...
this might be a more modern interpretation of some of the older cults already mentioned

i have heard of myths of gods/goddesses when getting drunk in the greek/roman era going to vilages and slaughtering even drinking their blood but as far as i know it's purely a myth

All myth is 2/3rds fiction, and 1/3 real

the only ones i can think of are Elizabeth Bathory and Vlad the Impaler...those are the only ones i am familiar with

i always figured there were no vampire dieties as vampires are purely a culture of habbits and not of religion.

I don't ever remember coming across Vampire Deities just people that others have looked up to and I know as others have said in this forum there are Deities and what not that were associated with Vampire but I don't think that there are Deities that Vampire Worship in the religious sense.

There are plenty of deified individuals and creatures, but no-one has ever identified a god-like being with a vampiric nature.

Perhaps the close associations made to the Judeo-Christian ideas, has been a factor in preventing this from occuring, since it is a 'one-god' concept and vampires supposedly on the opposing side.

Their are many vampire deities, like Lilith who was said to drink the blood of babies and young children, i consider Lilith a vampire deity...

i do not now of any deities.. how ever r.k i have heared a little about lillith so id agree that she would be a deitie

As for Jesus, I am aware of its purpose to ensure that the followers would be granted eternal life in heaven. But I also know of blood sacraments that are designed to achieve interesting states from Cabalistic texts, along with Greek Texts, and The Papyrus of Ani.

I reference Isis and Osirus, because Isis has been referenced by some as potential interpretations of the force described as AZ, JEH, or Lillith, depending on the era that these forces were attributed to, as well as Hecate. Osirus, yes lost his man hood, be he being the god of the harvest, and becoming a lord of the dead, the symbolism of the harvest in his mythologies, as well as the energetic associations when his God-head is evoked is very vampiric. In that, what is grown is consumed. The harvest is Consumption. So if Isis brought him back from the dead, lacking one aspect, being the phallus, which is a sign of life in the ancient world. He consumes but no longer bears the signature of life.

Thus I include them on my list of Vampiric Dieties.
