i seriously hope the bar tenders on the boat know how to make red devils. i went on a much smaller charter boat here in ny and they made em proper! that's pretty much the official drink (for the hardcore) of goth nite in my book. if they don't know how, i'll teach em! ;p

When cruising, we usually just stuck to the "drink of the day" because it is usually priced decent and premixed for quick refills!

Of course, if it is a drink that tastes like a cat's butt, I quickly ask for a vodka collins or a Vite Russian...

Don't worry Mama.... the bartenders are all good on the ship and just tell em not to go easy and they will make em nice:)
Even the gourmet coffe has a bunch of stuff to add to em.... Jamesons:)

The bartends onboard are excellent and "highly trained" is the understatement. However, most will not be familiar with the gothic names of drinks. If you know a drinks mainstream name, order it that way.. if it doesnt have one, tell them how to make it.

We taught our bartender on our May 19th sailing how to make Body Bags.

Red Devil is the real name of it. Or Red Death. I'm pretty confident they'll know what's up =)

I thought a Body Bag was Goldschlager and Jagermeister... Red Death is more like an Alabama Slamma mixed with a Kamikazee.

Yeah, I think the touch downs started up here in a club called the noc-noc. Then either Sam from IR, or Rev John came up here to visit, and took them down to LA with them. Now I think they are the official drink of Das Bunker. At least that is why I do with john every time I am down there.

You get the redbull in a big glass and a shot of the mandarine vodka. You drop the vodka in and CHUG! A few of those in a night and I am good to go.

For you 3 (at least) coming from LA, is Malediction still going? I wasn't fond of the drink prices but the club was fun and the gal spinning tunes last year did a great job.

I was surprised at the overall openness of the scene there. Denver has a buttload of clubs, but the people can be real bastards.

Yep, Malediction still goes on. Amanda and Xian both do a great job DJing there. I agree with you on the drink prices, though.

2 classy bouncers patted us down, and my pal never goes unarmed. So they gave him a ticket to retrieve his armaments afterward. I love LA.

$10/drink is too much at sea level, even for top shelf.
