I just saw VNV play in Vancouver on Wednesday night. At the end I was given the set list...and it's as follows. I have no clue if it's to be the same for the cruise or not.

Shuan on keys (also plays for combichrist, and Glis (yeah a little self promotion here for the band I play in. He's also my best friend...so WOOT...PARTY!!!! *can you tell I am excited he's coming?!?!?*))
Sylvain on lights (it's his bachelor party!)
Khristian doing sound (also plays in Rotersand)
and finally Gabe heading up the stage managment (he also plays drums for Imperative Reaction)

I was at the show in pomona on monday, the set list was pretty similar. fearless was in there somewhere, and electronaut at the end. it was a great show, it made me even more excited about the cruise! I can't wait.

Fearless is special to me. Especially because so many people have told me I'm too old to start training the way I do.

Yeah, I really hope that they play electronaut. We were shouting for them to play it in Vancouver.

fearless is my favorite. i would also really like for them to play standing(motion) on the cruise, that would make me so happy!

They are opening with my favorite!

Anything else is a bonus.

They've had a really busy tour!

I wonder if they'll relax along with the rest of us.

If they perform Beloved, I will cry!!! The opening is so beautiful.

I know in the schedule it says that seating for the concert starts at 7:30...does that mean that we have to STAY in our seats? What if we want to dance around? I don't think I can see VNV without wanting to move around...

I think 250 people in a theatre that seats over 1,000 should allow for a certain amount of freedom of movement ;-)

That is good...although you have never seen me dance...I might need another room added on. ha-ha. Actually you probably HAVE seen me dance...DOH!

Since it looks like it is in the main concert hall, there should be some good room to move around. Many of the rows have large tables which yield quite a bit of room, and the aisles are quite wide as well.

This is a good question. I think it would stink if they want us to sit and stay...

I think we'll all be sitting in the downstairs portion of the concert hall, closest to the stage. I've got a feeling that the upper levels will be closed off to us. As far as moving around during the concert, good question! My guess would be that we could, at least a little bit...

either that or Ronan's going to have to change his "I want to see you all moving" speech. Actually I saw them play in portland in a theater with the seats in...it was AWFUL! You couldn't move at all, and I was so frustrated cause all I wanted to do was dance!

VNV Nation will be relaxing along with the rest of us.

You will have to enter the theatre at the lower levels.. however.. as far as i've been told.. they are NOT closing off the upper levels.. though you may not get bar service up there.

Tell Ronan I shall try to bring the Chuppa-Chups... he'll understand!
