Thinking of kicking inactive members out of your society? Don't kick - trade!
We're Limbus Patrum and we stand for keeping the VR free members list clear of inactive accounts.
So don't litter the list with inactive accounts - trade them to Limbus and help keep VR clean!
(This has been a public service announcement from the Coven of Limbus Patrum and the organization of VR Sires for a cleaner VR)

No it's not Purgatory. It's a place for people to become a part of a society. When someone becomes active again they are in a coven and if they want to leave to another place I'm sure Birra would make the trade.
I love the idea behind this. If I ever want to let go of people then I'd send them there. :)
This Coven is NOT a Harry Potter Coven.
They do not sit around with their wands and yell-
"Expecto Patronum!!!"
Just thought I should throw that out there. :D
This has to be the most creative coven advertisment that I have ever read! :D
I have to agree, great advertising, great idea and keeps the streets clean. I will remember this so I can send my inactive members here.

Yes, but they have to be active and the member has to express an interest in being traded to that society. We also do reserve the right to decline the request, just as any other society would.
The idea is to help other societies find active members. I hear a lot about how societies are "dead" and no one participates. Well, people that don't log on don't participate and then they end up on the free member list after being shuffled from a few different societies.
The free member list was almost 3600 when I started Limbus. It was nearly impossible to navigate and find active members buried in it - and there were some there.
We also want to encourage those inactives to log on more often and find more enjoyment in the site - then they can move on to a society that fits them better.
We all want more activity in our societies - that is our goal, to help ALL societies and members be more active on the site.

Thank you to Lullaby and ArtistRose for their recent contribution of inactives to Limbus.
Not a problem~
It's a fantastic idea on all fronts. People that have taken a break don't come back to Purg or Hell, Coven Masters get peace of mind knowing the member's in good hands, and it doesn't cost anyone a thing. :)
I'm really glad Limbus is around.

Cool.
I think it is a good thing. We'll see how everything unfolds. :)
Must agree, I placed a stupid trade offer in the classifieds once, I knew my CM wouldn't want to keep this member but I was tired, i thought it wouldn't be a problem because it would be easy to kick this person out. Your idea of keeping VR tidy is very well thought.
MxR - since 95% of people in Limbus are inactive, they have no favour with the blood cost.
If you have inactive members, you'll be wanting to get rid of them, and it's generally assumed they'll go to Limbus for free.
I assume.
i like this the idea is absolutely genius, i think berra deserves a huge round of applause, good thinking hun, and way to keep vr cleaned up and up to date :)
now i would agree to an extent if i send a inactive member to the coven and then said member becomes active seems unfair to resell said member for favor as you did get them for free in the first place and yes i know its the cm right to do as he wishes just a thought
The theorised member wasn't making favour when they were taken in by Limbus, though. If anything, they cost favour to keep them daily.
It's supposed to be like a public service. Think of it like a lifeline shop. You donate things you don't want, and if they turn up to be worth selling, then they're sold.
The fact being that someone wanted to get rid of the member, and for nothing, and take the chance that they may log on again.
It's fair.
That's assuming if they charge societies they send the re-logged in members to, as well.
