Hi I am ACM of this coven and we are looking for new members please contact me and I will help you to get in when you reach your entry level. These are our rules and something about us. Please you must have some knowlege of witch craft and practice or would like to become one and start your new journey.
Rules For The Curious - Simple
1. Everyone must be as active as possible.Must Do (roughly 4 hours) and make at least 1 post in the Coven forum and 1 post in the main forum per week to maintain their membership and help the Coven scores. If you plan on being away for a period of time, please let the Coven Master, know. Please give me a date to expect your return.
Remember that the Coven is charged 1 favor per day for your membership, amounting to 7 favor per week. You could say this is paying your dues, and comes to about 2 hours total time, or 175 page views. That's not much to ask. This is why your continued activity is so very important.
2. Every Coven member is welcome to start coven forum threads. The threads must be kept neat and as much on topic as possible. They can be about anything as long as all of VR Rules are followed at all times.
3. There will be no disturbances. If you have an issue with another member of the coven or anyone else, please handle it outside of the coven in private messages. REPEAT - Private Messages - not in your Journal, coven forums, or public forums. You will be blinded. NO EXCEPTIONS. Drama in any form will not be tolerated. The officers are not here to mediate, and if forced to do so will not view your continued membership favorably. Coven business remains in the coven, and will not be discussed with others on VR. The Coven officer in charge of enforcement of the rules dealing with drama or disputes Obonewits. He has the full support of the council and his decision is final.
4. The Coven Crest must Be placed at the top area of your your profile. Once Inducted you will have 3 days to do so. If you do not place it on your profile within 3 days you will be warned, Followed by being BLINDED if you still do not place it on your profile. By placing the Crest on your profile it shows respect for your Coven and Coven Pride. To not place it on your profile shows Disrespect in the highest manner. To Disrespect your coven, is to be BLINDED.
5. If for any reason you wish to leave the coven, approach the ACM directly. She handles all trades and will take your request to the CM. This request should come from you and not from someone outside the coven. Violation of this rule will endanger your chances to be traded. If you follow procedure he will attempt to trade you out. (NOTE: In order to eligible to be traded you must have earned 500 favor and be in good standing with the coven.) SHE will not just release you for another coven or house to induct.
6. You must read the RULES THREAD COMPLETELY. You must sign off on the Coven Rules Sign Off Thread to show that you have read and understood all these rules. This is a requirement and will be dealt with accordingly if you fail to do so.
Addendum 6/8/2010
I'm adding this here so there will be no confusion as to my intentions if a problem situation arises. I want it to be clear when I made this statement and when this decision went into effect.
In the past it's been my policy to blind problem members and then trade them out or send them to Purgatory. Over time the ACMs allowed several people to be traded out, and that made the coven a bit of a joke as far as sending trouble makers there. What was the point if they could bargain their way back out of their punishment?
So, it is now my official position that if your membership is good in Curious, and you have no problems here...if you should decide in the future that you might want to be traded to another coven, that is entirely possible. I will discuss it with you. Rule 4 explains how to proceed to do this properly.
Remember, I AM NOT required to trade you. That is something you EARN by maintaining your membership and respecting the officers and members of this coven. According to VR rules you are property of the CM until you sire up. Maintaining a good relationship with me and the coven gives you privileges you would not ordinarily have.
If, however, you become a problem, I will NOT discuss a trade. I will give you the opportunity to redeem yourself by blinding you and giving your a 500 favor fine. Once the fine is paid, you can be readmitted to the coven. IF YOU FIND YOU CAN'T PAY THE FINE AND BE READMITTED, you will stay where you are.
If you can't follow the rules, Purgatory may look like a vacation to you. I will blind and hold you until you make sire or self delete.
I'm fair, and patient, but recently that patience has been pushed to the limit. Understand that these changes have been made to make things clear after certain members had complained that they didn't understand.
If there are any questions bring them to me personally. I do not mind an intelligent inquiry, but at this point I'm not going to be tolerant of argumentative nonsense.
