Bella Morte - a Goth, Horror Punk, Horror Rock, EBM, Synthpop/Futurepop popular to clubgoers in the know, throughout the world and of most every major goth/industrial event in the US. Their music graces every playlist from every top goth/industrial DJ in the nation. They are a favorite among both goth rock DJs and enthusiasts. Their first time playing Cincy. They have been on many Isotank and Metropolis Records Samplers over the years, as well as most of the noteworthy goth rock comps.
Hungry Lucy - Dark, Dark Trip Hop Electronica featured on many project, cleo, and other darkwave comps throughout the years. You may not recognize who they are when you hear them, but chances are that you have danced to a track or two.
Liquefaction - Female-fronted Industrial, Powernoise, Futurepop/Synthpop band you should hear if you haven't already.
N/A - Cincinnati Progressive Goth Rockers - vocals like current 93, the darkly infectious feel of Bauhaus, a Progressive edge the likes of Tool, and musical talent like you would not believe.
Added to our night -
1. a ton of huge movie posters from the upcoming movie - "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" - A shock/thriller starring Marylin Manson. I am not A huge Manson Fan, but the movie looks pretty unique and the posters look pretty damned cool. There may be more merch added to the list of giveaways if it arrives in time.
2. Psychic readings by Banshee - resident Psychic in the heyday of the Warehouse.
3. Leatherwolffe Creations - Sellers of leather Bracelets, Belts, Buckles, Gloves, and more - Clothing, Whips, Chains, Cuffs, Home Decor, and anything that can be sold legally in an alcohol-present environment.
4. D Raphael Jewelry and Gifts - Classy & Elegant Gothic and other jewelry, garb, decor, and more.
5. Eric Tragedy - Worked with Sam Raime on Spiderman 3. He will be showcasing and signing photography and film. Though he is a fellow Ohioan - he is one worth note that you should come out and see while you can.
6. Amanda Grissom, Photographer (unconfirmed). Hopefully she will be out showing her kick ass photography. Due to her busy schedule, we won't know until the day and minute. Check with her in person if you can.
7. Myke Amend - Paintings - Some new ones too. No one special, but some damned nice artwork to round out the event with.
8. Guest Passes/Backstage Passes to the Gothic Prom June 24th. Yes, we will be putting a limited amount of people in attendance on the guest list to spend some time back stage at this event. We will also put a handful of people on the list to see the Brides Show (your choice which until each run out).
9. YOU? There are still two days to add your store, promotional giveaways, cd/dvd/book signing, service, or artwork to our list of extras.
P.S. If you aren't here Friday June 2nd, you will probably that wish you were. Tickets are still available through ticketfusion for $11 at the Madison Theater. They are also available at an extra special price of $6 through Shake It Records on Hamilton Avenue in Northside while supplies last. Check out this huge newly renovated venue, come out and see us, and bands come out in person to check out this event and to get booked for future incarnations. We want to showcase more local bands with more national acts, and would really like to attach some names and faces to all the online submissions. (We are looking for a an extra special local act to round out the gothic prom right now - so come out and tell us why you should be that band)
