I have been reading how get togethers get started in here, hehe.
So, I thought I would see how many VR members would like to do a meet up on the Big Island of Hawaii. Yes, where the active volcano is.
I like life exciting.
What can I say ?
Perhaps we should do the event in the
Puna rainforset/ Glenwood is nice.
It tends to have a heavy cloud cover for all of us that are sensitive to sun and heat. And the nights out here are right out this world. The stars,and other galatical items, can be seen very clearly. In fact, up on Maunea Kea, there are observatories that are world renowned . Maunea Kea is the tallest mountain in the world, if you count below sea level. In the winter you can snow ski up there,LOL.
So, please respond with your thoughts and ideas about organizing this event.

I want to suggest that the meet up be for adults only.
I think Hawaii is a good idea and maybe people would even come from all over.
They could do the meet up and see all the sites.

Yes, good ideas, and I think we should do it at night, of course.
The nights are gorgeous in Hawaii, no big city lights to make it hard to see.
And yeah, adults only sounds good. Lots to think about

What time of year do you think would be best ?

What if we did it in May or so, and we make it a masquerade ball ?

My daughter lives in Kailuia,Hawaii so this is a possibility for me to attend. I might be misspelling the city name, but I think thats how its spelt.

Cool, Kailua is on Oahu on its windward side. So, I am not sure if you meant the island of Oahu, or the Big Island of Hawaii. There is a Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Which ever way, you are still gonna be close, so cool.

This party is gonna be awesome. I want to take my time planning so it will be something to remember.

I will ask her today when she calls which one it is. Yes, takeing your time to plan things right is usally a good idea. It just might end up being an awesome VR meet up .

I got the scoop. She's on the smaller island. But she said they have little planes that can fly people from island to island.
