I've never co-played but would like to do some one day...

I used to do civil war re-enactments about 20 yrs ago and would dress up in period attire.

I do like going to swap shos or thrift stores looking for costume ideas and creating things out of my imaginatikon, like my buccaneer costume.

I went to an anime con in Norfolk, and dressed as a Niko with samari swords, I think the picture is under my other profile Shalista.

Annnnnd I participate in the SCA and Ren Faire. So, have both medieval and renaissance garb.

Wear your nerd badge with pride because it is so much fun. You can cosplay anyone, people from books, movies, anime, manga, video games, anything. I have cosplayed as Tony Stark, Shizuo from Durarara, casual Sebastian from Black Butler, Germany, Formal Prussia, and Russia from Hetalia, and Dave Strider from Homestuck. I only go to Ramencon so far. I am going this year as well and I plan to be Deidara from Naruto, Kuroko from Kuroko no Basket, America from Hetalia, and official Prussia from Hetalia.

I have gone to Anime Expo 2-13 as Lord Jiraeya of Naruto:Shipuden Series. I won an award too.
