'Mr. Bingle' is a major New Orleans icon, most known by people who've been here a long time, or all their lives. He was the Christmas mascot of the department store 'Maison Blanche' (purchased by Dillard's), and the giant Mr. Bingle now on display each Christmas in City Park's 'Celebration in the Oaks'- used to reign over Canal Street at Maison Blanche in New Orleans ;) He's a wonderful memory. Below my son stands in front of that very Mr. Bingle. You can find Mr. Bingle plush toys and ornaments:
