Ceremonial Sword of the city of York, with dragon emblem | Blade: South Germany (?), hilt and symbols: Hungary (?), 1408—1416; York, the Lord Mayor of York and the City of York Council (Mansion House)

Henry V of England admitted Sigismund into the Order of the Garter, and the new member was given a place in the Order’s chapel in Windsor. The king of Hungary then presented the chapel with a sword adorned with the insignia of his own order, and it was hung above his pew. After his death, the sword became the property of the Windsor chapter in exchange for a mass said for salvation of his soul, and in 1439 a canon presented it to the city of York, to be carried in front of its Lord Mayor. This medieval tradition is still observed in the city.

Official act emitted by Vlad; the first known inscription that mentions the city Bucharest, now the capital of Romania; Vlad ordered to be built here one of his Voevodal residences.

1.Dracula really existed?
Yes.
He was the Wallachian Voivode Vlad III Dracula (1431?-1476?),
also known as Vlad Tepes (meaning Vlad the Impaler in Romanian).
2.He is the same with Bram Stoker`s character?
Not quite.
Stoker used what he could find out about Vlad as one of his main sources for making his novel more exotic and fascinating (Vlad inspired him the heroic side of the character, making it more interesting), however there are some differences between the real character and the historical one (Vlad was not a Sekely, but more like Vallachian, he was not a Count but a Voivode, his main hiding place was Poienari Castle in Northern Vallachia, not an invented castle near Borgo pass). It`s a fantasy novel so these adds are a testimony of the author`s skills.

The Dragon Order of The Coven of the Forbidden Fruit
is not a chivalric, religious or occult order.
Although it`s name is inspired by the chivalric order Societas Draconistrarum created 600 years earlier in 12 December 1408 by Sigismund of Luxemburg, Holy German Emperor and King of Hungary, it has no link with that order or any other order or organization.
