UO - How to petition for membership
Thank you for your interest in joining the House Of Umbrae Octo. My name is Nightgame and I am the Master here.
If you wish to be a part of my house then you should know that there are a few things that I will expect from you.
If you fail to live up to these standards, I may not trade you. I may blind you and leave you in my oubliette.
I insist on civility and manners.
I require that all my house members be at least 18 years of age.
I expect my family to act with grace and dignity. I abhor rudeness and will not accept it.
I expect you to read all of the house pages. I recommend that you read the house forum for a taste of the rich history we enjoy. It will also bring you up to speed.
I expect honesty. If I ever catch you lying to me I will cast you so far out you won't make it onto VR again. I promise.
I expect you to read the VR Manual.
I expect you to read the Terms of Service.
I expect you to post our house crest on your profile.
I expect you to follow the rules of our house forums and Halls.
If I haven't scared you off then I would recommend contacting a few of the members of my house. Ask them your questions. Ask about me and my methods of running the house. Read a few of our profiles. You may even wish to peruse a journal or two.
Don't waste my time or yours if this is not the house for you.
