Oh the hard choices to make....
as to what to do the last weekend of this month...go to SalonCon- a con about corsets, all things Victorian and beyond OR go see Massive Attack in concert (on of THE bands I always had listed on the 'to see before you die')?????

Uggh I can't make my mind up!!GRRRR
Alots going on- I turned in my resignation for my position for Shadowlore's Branch Head for DE, NJ, and PA. I just don't/didn't have time. Also we're not going to EM- a few people had issues with Mairi having allowed Sera to go to this event- sad cause we wanted to go since we didn't last year (since I was on mandatory bedrest), but rather than have drama, we just decided to stay home and do stuff with Sera instead for her first Halloween. She's going to be a little witch, replete with hat and broom.
Get this- last week when Dad and Skip were flying out from Phx to here, Skip was chatting up the person next to him. This guy was cool he said, they talked about writing and a bunch of stuff. So as they're getting off the plane another flyer said, "Hey did you know who that was? That was Dean Koontz!" HAHAAAA Skip didn't even know!
SO next week Sera, Jared and I leave for Phoenix for a week (poor Ron has to stay home and work, not enough vacation time accrued yet). We might be heading to the Grand Canyon, but I do plan on showing Jared the local stores and maybe even a club- Tranzylvania I hear is supposed to be good, but I'm not sure when it is.
On Oct. 2 Jared asked me to accompany him to the Gravediggers Ball in Laurel HIll Cemetary - we're either going to dress up full LouisXV style or Victorian, but we need to find a good costume rental store, anyone have any suggestions? It needs to be eastern Pa, De, or NJ (say Cherry Hill area) located.
Mairi and possibly Holly will be coming up this way for a few days stay in Nov. That'll be cool..
We recently smudged and cleansed the whole apt. Sera seems to have had a few noncorporeal guests bothering her to the point of her not wanting to sleep in her room. WE laid out rune wards on every door and window leading outside of the apt. Feels better, but then Doreen says she thinks ther's one left and somehow it's atached to the energy of the computers in the house. ?? who knows It wasn't anything 'BAD' but more like those people you see outta the corner of your eye walking by a doorframe, or possible sounds you think you hear on the baby end of the monitor at night, like talking or movement...so far so good.
And onew last thing- I can't wait to see Marie Antionette coming out Oct.20th with Kirsten Dunst...I am such a sucker for period films.
Our new friend Vincenzo, who left Nola shortly after Katrine hit last year has been living in MD since, Elkton too, the poor dear (Elkton=redneck nowhereville). He's been dying to have someone to talk to or hang out with, and in less than a week we gave him a local tour, intro'd him to others and on Sun. we're hitting Dracula's Ball.
