I woke up and stood in the doorway for a couple minutes then opened the screen door, it was old and it squeeked. I changed my mind about running somewhere and I let the door slam shut, it was pouring rain outside. It was windy and I was cold, but I remembered already being out in the rain and soaked and I had run home and fell asleep, I felt my dress and it was a little damp still.
Everything was muted, mostly black and white. I was in another country and back in time. There was war and dogs. It was muddy everywhere and soldiers were running every which way. I saw pale colors when I looked into the puddles, the slightest blue in the greys of the clouds above.
I was soaked again running to my friends house and there was no power there and he lived off into the woods. When I got to his porch I stepped on the loose board we always avoided stepping on, I wasn't paying attention cause my mind had been full of avoiding puddles and slippery grass. He was looking at me through the window and had come out with a towel, I dried my hair and wrapped it around me, I was so cold. I had splatters of mud on my dress, it was black though.
I laid down on the wood floor and the wind blew fierce and all the windows were open and I could smell the cedar from the trees as I stretched up to turn the old radio on. Loud static buzzing and high pitched whirling until I found a faint voice in a foreign language yelling....I turned it off. He brought me tea and I was surprised to see a bit of sugar cube in it, this sweetness was very rare.
I took off my black shoes and put my socks on the cast iron stove that was still warm. I saw something out of the corner of my eye come out from the bits of wood by the wall. It was a snake and it moved so fast I yelled Will, Will! Then it came back at me and I was jumping and running. He came up with a shovel but it was so fast and trying to attack us. Then I woke up.

Wow...was that really a dream of yours? Mine are never really that vivid. Especially no smells.

wow i haven't read this since i wrote it here, and reading it now i could see everything as it was when i dreamt it. the snake was black and shiny and i didn't think of how i didn't know my friends name until i yelled for him to help. a deeper meaning i wonder in it that it was ''will''
this was the first dream in awhile that was almost completely colorless, but i do dream of smells alot, sometimes i can remember a whole dream within an hour by a single smell that i smelled in the dream

I despise these types of dreams. Only because in the end no matter how frightening, I always want more.
Do you find that to be true to?

yes i do feel the same acouple times i have gone back into the same dream after waking up and rolling over lols. i ponder upon the deeper meaning of something as symbolic as the snake, as if i have a snake in my life. i think at the time it was being done dirty by a friend i helped. thank you for reading it, dear Miss Sacha, love ya sharing your always-cool thoughts.
